Evolution is fact. Evolution is fact. Evolution is fact. Evolution is fact. Evolution is fact. Evolution is fact. Evolution is fact.... IS IT SINKING IN YET.
@RushOnAMission87 There is no evidence he exists that is the evidence.
Now i wait for your next delusional statement in which i expect you to give evidence that he does. And don't make the same mistake as the other misguided fools Einstein did not believe in God.
@RushOnAMission87, if you say that the only reason you disagree with the theory is because we're mettling with god, then there is no logically convincing you.
@RushOnAMission87, the laws of thermodynamics only apply 100% in a closed system. The earth isn't a closed system, it is an open system as we get energy from the sun. Gravity IS a theory, just because it is real doesn't mean it's also not a theory. Quantum Mechanics is a theory and most likely real.
@RushOnAMission, there is evidence of evolution. Why do you think they make a new vaccine for the flu every year? It's because the virus changes and adapts to the current vaccine. I also never said that a theory is a fact, it's just an idea that can be changed. Gravity is a theory, but we can't know it's right, because somewhere gravity might not exist as a force. Also, don't make ad hominem attacks because it makes you're argument less valid.
@BeowulfVids 1st of all moran.Gravity is real and not a theory, if your gonna call gravity a theory than I guess my foot is also a theory. There are 3 types of evolution Macro ,Micro and Theolistic. the one you described is Micro Evolution, I have no problem with micro evolution, it's Macro Evolution that Darwin wrote about. Which is not possible without breaking the laws of Thermodynamics.
@BeowulfVids Thermodynamic Law 1. Matter can niether be created nor destroyed God does not abide by our rules. I have no problem with Science until it tries to meddle in God's affairs and, yes Macro Evolution has been disproven just buy incosistencies and the breaking of scientific laws
Your a Moran Dude!!!! If you believe in evolution there is no plan it justs happens by accident, and you don't aknowledge the existance of satan. it just proves my point when I say that people that like good scientific evidence without contradictions. should drop evolution and convert to Christianity
Talk about twisted logic. This video crystallizes the message in BU2B. Crazies who believe in a sky dictator will distort anything to make it seem like there is one. Evolution in not a religion, it is a better established theory than quantum mechanics, and QM is here to stay. You see primate behavior in humans every day.
Hey, guess what, a theory is just a proven hypothesis, which means it's a fact (as far as we know) so people that claim evolution is and always will be a theory (in the sense that it's wrong) are uneducated.
@BeowulfVids You Idiot a theory is not a fact. You have to test it, and it has to be observed. I've never seen anything evolve so that would make it a model. So there you have Darwin's Model of Evolution by Natural Selection. Jesus. 1 Uneducated Idiot. 0
I'm Catholic, and believe in evolution because all evidence points toward it, but the creationists believe that the bible is the only source of knowledge, which it frankly isn't. The creationist theory is based on religion, which is banned by the CONSTITUTION to be taught in public schools. I hate it when people push for it and say 'the democracy wants it' when the democracy is not always right. We can vote on the gender of a bird, but that doesn't change the bird's gender.
@BeowulfVids You cant belive in both you have to pick, and The laws of science go against Evolution. The Bible is right, not just the Gospels but Genesis too.
the message is old & done before, but whatever its just not a good rush song, loud & blaring nonsence, old man neil ranting away. play the drums man & shut up
Blah, Blah, blah. So glad you have risen up to save us mindless Christians from ourselves. Evolutionists are now on the intellectual witch hunt. Further, evolution only answers a few questions, even if it did so accurately, as it does not. And, btw2U, Freewill can ACTUALLY be exercised to draw a different conclusion than you and actually present a viable alternative explanation to the Universe. Discovering how the watch is made does not eliminate the watchmaker. Pass the ammo bitch.
Lol stereotypes much? All atheists are apperently anti anything religious even the word god on our money and all Christians are bible thumpers who take each word literally and go against evolution.
That is why youtube arguments are for retards who don't actually have the balls to look up anything outside of the horrible richard dawkins and reverand wright. look up some actual debates and learn instead of acting like you know and comment fighting.(don't reply to this i won't care)
Wow. This is probably the most misguided and ignorant video on You Tube. You need to spend about a day reading the Talk Origins website and find out what a total fool you're making of yourself. To vandalize the immensely powerful and spectacular musicianship of Rush, not to mention their important philosophical stance that organized religion is baseless and ultimately destructive, is about as insecure and pathetic an act as I've ever come across.
You take a song about how religion raises people to believe without question, written by a band who's lyricist is a well-known Atheist, & use that song to push an anti-evolution agenda, while believing that some being created everything because a religious book said it happened... to call this "stupid" is an understatement. Also, if you say "when they honestly look at the theory they realize it isn't a given fact," then you need to pick up a dictionary & look up the word "theory."
You seem like a real fan, but how any fan could so blatantly misinterpret their lyrics, use them to push an agenda, then proceed to chop up and disgrace the song in question is beyond all and any understanding.
@bytor765 Your use of the word theory suggests a profound misunderstanding of the scientific method in general. A 'hole' in a theory is not necessarily a bad thing, especially considering there exists no evidence to date that refutes evolution.
@TehCondor Let me ask you ask a question. Can a dead woman have kids? NO so therefore a single celled organism spontaneously generating from non living matter and creating all the complex life and the complexities within the lifeforms cells, The Human Brain etc. is an unfathamable impossibility.this is why I love when evolutionists say were uneducated because I get to pull out scienctific laws and a bunch other evidence, and SPEW A LOAD OF SCIENTIFIC CUM ALL OVER YOUR PRECIOUS EVOLUTION
@RushOnAMission87 Can't tell if troll. Thanks for responding to my year-old comment with your pointless drivel. Abiogenesis has absolutely nothing to do with a dead woman producing offspring.
Nothing is unfathomable, but some concepts are far more likely to be correct than others. Some concepts have evidence in support of them. Clearly you are in fact as uneducated as you've been told.
@TehCondor yeah and your Dillusional You also took what I said out of context. my point is that sponteniously generated life is impossible science has tried many times and failed every time. which mean Darwinistic Evolution is impossible. It uses bad science with many inconsistincies and will break scientific laws to prove their point. Why do you think great Scientific minds are turning away from Darwin, it's because of what I just pointed out
@RushOnAMission87 I have a hard time believing that someone could be this obtuse. As I said one year ago on this very page, "holes" in a theory do not immediately disqualify it. Where are all of these "great Scientific minds" refuting evolution? They don't exist. Abiogenesis has not yet been observed, but that has no bearing on whether or not it happened a billion years ago on a very different Earth, if that's how life began on this planet. That, in turn, has no bearing on evolutionary theory.
@TehCondor Hey check the definition of theory and you'll find out that a theory has to be observed. I've never seen anything evolve. that would make it a model. You also kinda confused me with 1st statement. my point is Non living matter can't produce life. It's that simple
@RushOnAMission87 I will reiterate my first statement: Your use of the word theory suggests a profound misunderstanding of the scientific method in general.
A Theory is not a hunch, guess or conjecture. In science, a Theory is just about as close to fact as you can get. Gravity is indeed a theory, as are the existence of atoms(atomic theory), germs(germ theory), the sun being at the center of the solar system(heliocentric theory, or just heliocentrism).
@TehCondor a theory has to be observed and tested the only thing its been tested on is viruses and micro organisms you still haven't conducted a test on a live human being. ALBERT EINSTEIN BELIEVED IN GOD he's revered as one of the greatest if not the greatest scientific mind of all time. oh yeah the Director of the US Department of Science and Scientific Sesearch happens to be a Christian too.
@RushOnAMission87 You simply MUST be trolling now. Just google "observed instances of speciation" to find observed examples of evolution in action. And no, theories do not have to be directly observed - for example, we can observe the effects of evolution in the fossil record, taxonomy, genetics, etc. Additionally, it matters not what one scientist believed - that doesnt make it right. Not to mention that Albert Einstein did not believe in a personal god and it has no bearing on evolution anyhow
@RushOnAMission87 California Ensatina Salamanders - there's your observed evolution. Additionally, the Theory of Evolution IS NOT abiogenesis. Non-living matter producing "life" has nothing to do with living things changing over time.
I understand people not having faith in a Creator; but if that same person has a full belief in Darwin, that really is stupid. There's just as many holes in that theory than there is with a Supreme Being if you ask me. The Holy Trinity of rock!!!
You discredit yourself with the first few quotes. Lipson was not a paleontologist or biologist. He was a physicist. Stephen Jay Gould was not refuting evolution at all. Go and read the whole article. Pierre-Paul Grasse' was a neo-lamarckist. Still an evolutionist, just didn't believe in mutation and natural selection.
Perhaps you should search for truth instead of tools to prop up your beliefs.
ok, the quotes are just bad. If my students asked the one on chemical reactions in the cell I would send him to the library to work it out. If one cell forms and is viable , you eventually get billions of the same cell. You dont need lots of seperate animals all evolving a basic cell at once , you start with a working cell and go from there. Finish the Darwin eye quote. Next sentance please. Thats a lie of omission , and if you are christian , you go to hell for it.
One more thing Geddy doesn't believe in a God either.
