  • Thank you for that trip down memory lane. I can die happy now. :)

  • This was great...thank you very much. Nostalgic, I remember watching most of those either after school or on Saturday morning! Great job :)

  • Move aside 2010s, this is how a real decade looks!!! Cowabunga dudes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great job. Its nice seeing a blast from the past. Im 32 years old and remember all these shows

  • NOTHING IS BETTER THAN THE 80'S!!! I AM SORRY BUT I WAS ONLY 5 YEARS OLD IN 84 AND I STILL CAN REMEMBER THAT EVERYTHING WAS THE BEEEEEESSSSSST IN THE 80'S!!!!!!!!

  • I was born in '85 but watched all that stuff in the early nineties. Sigh.... Those were some of the best toons. Silver hawks and thundercats in particular. Very nostalgic :)

  • I'm not gonna lie. I cried a little.... Great video man

  • This video brings tears to my eyes. There was a magic that permeated pop culture back then, that disappeared in the early 90's when everything started to become homogenized. Watching this video enabled me to almost touch with my fingertips a feeling that I haven't felt in 20 years. It's out of reach, like viewing a portal to the 80's through unbreakable glass, but I remember that feeling somewhat, despite never being able to experience it again. I just have to be grateful I was there.

  • Fuck my brain! It is the best collection!!!

    Optimus musr leave:)

  • Love it. Heroes of the good days

  • Me happy now :D

  • I was born in '93 but i remember watching a lot of these on TV after school. Nobody ever told me i was just watching really old re-runs. Either way thanks for the trip down memory lane.

  • Best time to grow up in

  • LOVE IT

  • Muthafudging RADICAL!

  • I love the 80's and early 90's animation. It's more detail than today's animation. Plus alot of 80's cartoons looks alot like anime like Thundercats which is an american cartoon but people mistake it for anime

  • FK YOU SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS!!!!!!!!!

  • A Nostalgic Orgasm!!

  • Quality...

  • one of my fave vids on youtube. brings me back to my childhood. Would loved to have seen Silverhawks and The Gobots on here but it still is a great vid. Thank you for giving me a few minutes of enjoyment this day.

  • @MushroomCapps: see FAQ #6, posted under the author's summary.

  • Wow! Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Voltron, He Man and the Masters of the Universe, Challenge of the Superfriends, GiJoe, even Tranzor Z and Robotech! All awesome! I could on and on!

  • I'm surprised most of these cartoons lasted only 2-4 years. Time really does pass more quickly the older you get. Thanks for the memories :)

  • i used to watch all these on the cartoon channel on cable tv years ago in the uk best thing about the old cable tv was you could nick a cable box and plug it into your aerial and get free cable lol and it kicked skys ass just a shame hd wasnt around back then and all these cartoons are great parts of my childhood memories cool

  • Wow! That Phil Collins brings back so many memories! I was born in the mid 60's and was a teenager in the mid 80's! Best time of my life. Sorely miss those days ...

  • COOLL TRIBUTE ONE OF THE BEST VISIT

  • I love it!

  • Voltron just gave me chills!

  • i was born in 1985...so i'm in between... i love both the 80s and the 90s!....i'm glad i'm not the only who despises the stuff they make nowadays...although there are a few exceptions..

    '

  • awesomeness! hail to the 80's

  • My favorite YouTube video. Well done.

  • melted when i watched this felt so young agian...love the music from short circuit 2 also hehe

  • Hell yea C.O.P.S.!

  • This is awesome. I watched everyone of those cartoons growing up =)

  • Only thing I can do is cry, as Bonnie Tyler sang "Where have all the good men gone And where are all the gods?", god, I wish I would not be grow up, as my childhood was in best time in world.

  • Thank you

  • Thumbs up if you can name all the cartoons before the credits tell you

  • Love this video, Joshiro! Great, great job!!

  • very cool dude!!

  • I instantly remembered of my Heman Action Figure, I had with 5 years

  • Crept out of bed about 6:30ish in my Mask pajamas got stocked up on biscuits, crept to the living room, waited for trasworldsports to end, before Jayce and the wheeled worriers kicked ^_^

  • @MrGuvEuroman :D YES!!!!!!!

  • I'am still stuck in the 80s lol, never grow up hahaha.

  • That's so cool I grow up with all the shows I loved like uuumm alll of them that's such a cool video thanks I grow up on them.

  • I feel lucky to be an 80s kid. i see some of these and its like ahh! i remember that but what was the name of it? I hate that! Ok i was impatient and was only halfway thru. THANKS!!! lol

  • I loved to be a kid in the 80's I was very lucky. Now as father my duty is no keep away my dughter from the current shit. (sorre y my english is not very strong) Anyway... thanks for the memories. Regards

  • They do NOT make cartoons like they used to. The storylines and plots were so deep and the animation was awesome, and you actually learned something at the end. Good vs Evil. Not useless 30 min brainwashing with Spongebob or Ed, Edd, and Eddy that actually makes kids dumber for having watched them. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Awesome vid.

  • What a great piece of nostalgia! Thanks for making me relieve my childhood again! Brilliant!

  • 88 people was not allowed anywhere near the TV on Saturday mornings!

  • I'd like to see one with the villains getting a tribute. Please don't hiss the villain.

  • the 80s cartoons in my opinion was the best. We had the best action, the best artist that put there best effort (and they didn't skimp like they do nowadays), and the cartoons usually had a moral lesson (which is lost to the future generations). It's good to entertain the kids but there has got to be a moral compass. I won't let my kids watch the crap they are putting out nowadays with a few exceptions. Thanks for the montage..

  • SO MUCH THINGS EXPLODING AND SHIT AND CRAZY CAMERA ANGLES AND AND AND AND.... yep, the 80s.

  • You summed up my childhood. Thanks for this!

  • People from the 80s taking a stand^^

  • Well..black dog..actually most of them were just for money probably the biggest one just for money was ninja turtles but still I agree they should be on t.v again

  • FRIKKIN AWESOME!!!! Dont ever take this video off!!! ^_^

  • You did a helluva job putting this vid together! I am and always will be an 80's baby!!!

  • marvelous!

  • this is in Honor of all the GREAT 80's cartoons that should be re-aired cause all the new cartoons don't have the same greatness as the 80's once did. the new cartoons just want ratings while the old school wanted to entertain kids and give them some sound words of wisdom in the process.

  • great montage! it brought me back down to when I was a little kid! thanks!

  • I'm a 90s kid and love the 90s, but I still respect the 80s. The 2000s, however, were absolute shit and I will never respect them.

  • asskicker . the best one I seen. nice !

  • Very good compilation. I've seen all of these and think your compilation kick ass. The choice of music fits it very well.

  • Excellent!!

  • Fucking Orgasmic!!!

Good old 80s when the cartoons made kids tough :)

  • a hero i someone who knows the risks and dangers involved...and does it anyways.

  • I have said it more than once. Everything I ever learned about how to be a moral person, I learned from 80's cartoons.

    Right makes Might.

    Be Kind.

    Everyone is Equal.

    Life Will Out.

You must be willing to loose everything for what you believe in.

Money is the root of all evil.

Never leave home without your particle blaster.

  • dundgeons and dragons! my fave!

  • Fuck, I wish I could've been a kid in the 80's. The 90's/00's have nothing on these cartoons. Or the music.

  • Thes two song was epic!

  • por diosssssssssssss si con esa cancion!!!! impresionanate!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Well done, A+

  • Thanks for the trip down memory land :) This is what REAL CARTOONS ARE

  • I bet those idiots that blame video games and cartoons for their children's violent ways finally had thier missions accomplished..now all these children have are learning cartoons....pfttttttttttt

  • Thumbs up if you watch the complete video!

  • @ThePrinnyBomb twice

  • @ThePrinnyBomb i used to watch these when i was growing up

  • @ThePrinnyBomb fuck yeah!!! THE 80'S ARE THE BEST!!!

  • You made me smile, and I also get wet eyes, memories of that time of my life when I was very happy, I hope now to provide the same hapiness to my dear daughter. Thanks for the video man. Regards

  • @Hexenjaeger00 i also grew up in the eighties love all the cartoons one my fav

silverhawk what cartoon what a song love it thanks to all of us to who grew up int the

that great time i will always remeber

  • Sweet

  • tubular!

  • truely awesome !!

  • Great video great music great cartoons!

  • Bravestar and Jayce! you are my hero

  • best cartoons:-)

  • great video. i watched the most of these cartoons when I was a boy. Great stuff. They dont make cartoons like those nowadays, do they?

  • In the 80's - 90's I was He-man, My Neighbor was She-Ra I was Optimus Prime, She was the maiden in distress. I was Michelangelo , She was April I was Captain Planet, She was Gaia I was Egon Spengler, She was a ghost I was Lionel, She was Cheetara and Sometimes... She was Jerrica Benton and I was Rio Pacheco Today almost twenty years later We are just Everyday people living ordinary lives we moved apart found different love. But this video took me back. Made me remember. Made me feel 8 again!
  • Captain Planet was the beginning of the end and as a 90's cartoon should only be though off as a bookmark signifying the conclusion of the golden age of western cartoons.

  • the Thundarr characters were the original basis for the He-Man figures and then came the great cartoon ,one word sums this video AWESOME

  • magnificent years that will never come back

  • Didn't know Defenders, Superfriends, Saber Rider, Thundarr and Tranzor Z, and had only heard about Voltron, but other than those i remember watching all of those at some point. Even played Dragon Lair for a bit on the... CD-I i believe?

    Good times, good times...

  • 85 ppl must not have been born in the 80s

  • @lcc726 The 80's had their flaws.

  • Nostalgia crits you for a truckload of dice

  • GHOSTBUSTERS!

  • Ah back when there were real cartoons with violence, sexy women and the enemy got a beat down in every episode. Today, the bad guys go to therapy and the good guys get arrested for assault and sued by the emotionally distraught bad guys.

    Cartoons today are effed up.

  • Perfect.... Perfect.... PERFECT song for this AWESOME Tribute to the 80's!!! It was epic and beautiful! I'm so glad I was born in the 80's and got a taste of these cartoons and it's epicness! Thank you so much for helping us remember our precious childhoods! We all need our heroes right now!

  • Great vid but I can't believe The Raccoons didn't make it in there but excellent none the less.

  • Well done, very well made vid. I think there was only one toon here I didn't know and I've managed to collect alot of the rest :)

  • Reminds me my childhood in the 90's and early 2000's. I hate this modern world! Now you can basically do everything important without leaving your house. Pay bills online, get smarter online, buy (or pirate) music online, watch TV online, buy (or pirate) movies online, buy (or pirate -.-) games online, meet people online, get money online, order food online, listen radio online. All that. World was a lot better in the 90's, 80's and before. It wasn't that pussy easy like today. :'(

  • Love this, my childhood revisited!

  • @videozfann - My goodness!! That was an 80's animated explosion!! I forgot all about Defenders of the Earth. I haven't seen that since I was a kid!

  • I LOVED the video, but why no Inspector Gadget, Mask, Bionic Six, or better yet, why use Challenge of the Superfriends from the 70's instead of The Super Powers Team: Galactic Gardians which is actually from the 80's? Still Excellent work by the way!

  • just noticed heman has the knights templar (freemasons) logo on his chest ..

  • Ya this video rules i watch it time to time its epic !!!

  • Its completely awesome that He-Man has the Maltese Cross on his chest plate.

  • You'd think that cartoons would look better in the future. Think again they're fucking lazy now, no detailed characters noone even looks realistic anymore, unlike the 80s and 90s cartoons, I'm so happy to have been a kid that time!!!

  • @NekoEspada That's because CGI rendering time is cheap. Creative people time is expensive.

  • this is so sick i love it and i am 10 and i love aha take on me is my favorite song

    :D

  • best video EVER...tear jerker right here.

  • inspector gadget was a hero, sort of :D

  • I know its near impossible, but they have to remake these cartoons for the sake of the human race, the shit they call cartoon nowadays is f*king up the youth!

  • I really love the editing. Some parts really fit the songs like 2:00 when Optimust started kicking ass and the music went to it's chorus and climax...Freakin awesome!!

  • do another montage, good music like this one! excillent chioce of music an great editing

  • editing on this vid is great!! both tunes match 80s cartoons

  • wow!!!!!! nicly done...... i feel like a kid again thanks for a great vid

  • This is a REALLY Kicking Video! Not only is it a Wonderful trip down memory lane, but I REALLY Love the way that you used images from the various cartoons that matched either the words in the songs that you used or at least the rythem.

THANK YOU So Much for the Wonderfull Trip down Memory Lane!

  • Awesome mix and videos. Thanks!!!

  • 80's style! (TO THE MAX!)

  • This was a fantastic video and an awesome tributes to 80's cartoon heroes and heroines.

  • This is too awesome. The eighties were the best era for Cartoons! None of today's shows even come close!

  • TMNT was my favorite cartoon when I was 4 years until now

  • YEP thundercats to start with in this intro, good good :)

  • You brought a tear to my eye and a smile to my face.

    Thank you :)

  • en ammerica del sur se siente ,mas estos dibujos no saben las cosas q tenia q hacer para poder ver estos dibujos en mi infancia era dificil pues no tenia tele y ya saben los riquillos de esos tienpos se creian y no me dejaban ver.

  • One thing is sure, i dont envy kids of today, with the crappy cartoons of today. They are so bad compared to the cartoons of the 80's and 90's.

Every single Cartoon back then was worth watching more or less.

  • Thanks for bringing back wonderful childhood memories :)

  • Nicely done. :)

  • I love how you had the Ghostbuster and the real ghostbusters :)

  • The word 'epic' wishes it was this video. Seriously though, if you didn't throw a fist in the air at least twice during this thing, check your pulse, you may be a damned zombie.

  • que buenos recuerdos felicitaciones

  • Its sad, but I think Power Rangers (MMPR and ZEO) were the last of the classics with a good show content and catchy theme. The new cartoons don't teach kids values and the animation sucks! Also, as mentioned prior, no catchy themes. Who cares if the 80's cartoons were animated commercials for the toy companies, they were good and inspired imagination.

  • These cartoons had japanese producers right? they look amazing

  • @Xenofan20 I have been wondering that my self, i think they might have outsourced their openings to Japanese studios. A lot of old cartoons have high quality openings.

Great timing, I love how Prime shot Ramjet in time with the song.

  • im from the 90's and i watched all this tv shows as a kid and the 90´s stuff too!! *o*

    Thank you sudamerican old tv!

  • Makes me wish I had watched a lot of this!

  • Jesus Lord, what a trip down memory lane...

  • 80''''s were great especially the kid with the bobo voltron who could not afford the die cast cats!

  • im born in 1991 and watched a lot of these cartoons on videos, best thing in my life so far to have done. Transformer and robotech i have the first episodes of them and will treasure them!

  • 80'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I..think I love you

  • @xxNicosxx You weren't even alive in the 80s so how would you know?

  • got to be one of my favourite videos on you-tube. glad to be born in 76"

  • Incredible Incredible...you just took me back to a time that I didnt worry about bills...keep it up...

  • thanx for making me feel like a child again, fantastic!

  • epic 80´s video

  • yeah very surprised a clip show could be so damn fantastic! Thumbs up for damn sure :) Sadly I missed most of these shows as most were not dubbed in my native tongue.

  • Awesome! I agree with all!

  • I'm very happy to watch this. I want to say thank you to the creator of this video. This video took me back to my childhood and make me reminisce all the cartoons i use to watch during the weekends and summer when school was out. I am now 29 years old I am about to turn 30 soon....i sound a little immature but i think it was a joyride for me to watch this video. I hope to watch another one!

  • @Wesleyworld9000

Not at all. I'm just here reminiscing about the good old days and wonder what happened to make it all change so much....

  • :0) me 30 and thx for video...well done from German

  • When I was a kid watching these they seemed to last longer than the 2 years most of them ran for. Crazy.

  • The 80's had some great cartoons.

  • 83 people did not experience the '80s

  • Total Geil :) Meine Zeit der Catoons !!!GZ!!!

  • I keep stumbling upon this, and I watch it fully every time. Oh 80's we miss you.

  • Awesome...G.I. ROCKS ... And VOLTRON is the BEST. I Hope you like my comments. Captain Planet is pretty cool too..

  • 83 people missed the awesomeness of the 80's

  • is it wierd that im born in 1994 and i recognize a couple of them?

  • @MRSupernova100 no not at all, popular culture always spills over into the following decades

  • The 80s were the golden age of cartoons ; )

  • @mrmegarock58 I confirm; found it on Wikipedia; qubo night owl

  • I forgot how awesome this video is; if you're wondering, Kaidus and I are one and the same. You'll find the Commonality by way of signature.

  • That was awesome! I can't believe how short-lived some of those cartoons actually were. It felt like I grew up with all of them at the same time! The original G.I. Joe will always be a CLASSIC. And GO VOLTRON, forget Power Rangers. LOL! Thanks!

  • Amazing that so many of these only ran for a season or two because they impact they had was incredible

  • i swear this is one of the best tributes i've ever seen, i love coming back to it now and then. It's a shame today's cartoons can't hold a candle to any of these. Well maybe except for Simpsons in the 90's.

  • where did cartoons went wrong?! the only thing i hate about computers, is that they changed the cartoon animation in a bad way, 80's & early 90's cartoon will always be the best!!

  • I always thought optimus prime was a fire truck in the cartoons not a semi truck.

  • optimus's final rollout.. i actually cried.. he was hte best..

  • Never have I felt so much nostalgia for a decade I didn't live in.. Well I did.. but three years from the end.

  • great job... great memories
