I have been Ground Crew for many, many years. I few weeks ago I lost a dear friend of mine. May my heart and strength go out anyone who has lost family or friend by any tragedy such as this. We can only hope, that is was painless. God, please take care of our friends and family.

Courage Strength and Peace to all the relatives of the victims of this tragedy.

Its never easy losing a loved one no matter the circumstances and there isnt much anyone can say to lessen the pain and sense of loss.

I am also an offshore Helicopter pilot and I always keep in mind the guys in the back have families to go home to and I strive everyday to make sure that those in my care arrive to work safely and arrive back safely....somethings however are not always under our control. god bless.

I can't help but cry, whenever i see this, and it was so sad to see this on the tv this evening, here. The crew of that flight are a part of us, now, in this province and we will NEVER forget them, and will grieve for them, for the rest of time. It's part of who we are, and what we do. On this date...... Newfoundland remembers them all. We will keep them in our hearts for the rest of it. We shall never forget any of them.

This breaks my heart. As a wife of an offshore worker who knew those men,I can't begin to tell you our grief. I am beside myself with anguish for those 17 families as they so could have easily been my own. I will bring my husband back to that heliport soon but I will do it with much greater intrepidation and far more appreciation than ever before.
