I live in Europe where there is a wider variety of more exotic species and captive breeding is a more common practice. The European dealer I have has his own URL "meyken.spiderlinge.de". In the US, I subscribe to this great guy on youtube and he also deals a wide variety of specimens in NA, "tarantulaguy1976". I hope this helps.

these species are rather aggressive. they are REALLY fast for terrestrial species and she would try to bite me if i put a finger near her. i held her once and she would sometimes move so fast that it looked like she teleported. the venom potency is not high in comparison to the other species. the only unlikely thing is that you could mechanical injuries but the venom is only dangerous if you have an allergic reaction. most people refer to the venom like that of a bee sting (slightly worse)

@owenloh12 There have been no recorded deaths from tarantula bites, tarantula venom does not effect humans other than pain compared to that of a bee sting unless you are allergic as tarantulakid said.

@playwithme30 all tarantulas have a neurotoxic venom and rely on it to kill prey and even if they theoretically take out the venom, the tarantula would make more anyways. they need the venom to kill and they egest digestive fluids to help them swallow prey

i think she is not a juvie but an adult cause this sp only gets to 4" maybe more if your luky how big is she. when they are adults there blue turns to purple

i know this species get to "comparable sizes of a rosea, but she is really small and i would highly doubt that it is an adult. maybe close to a sub adult or is one. i could post a handling vid :P

thank you very much. i love the positive compliments and i want to make a feeding vid, but that's difficult now because she made a new burrow. she made a very well crafted burrow deep in the substrate, so she abandoned the shallow moss hide which made filming so EASY. to be honest i wish that they sold endoscopes because you could film their burrows :D. thank you for the motivating compliment ;)

to be honest i suspect that she is in pre moult because she's been eating a lot and they are known to power feed before they moult. thanks for the compliment ;)
