nice video! i have a summit which i love but the battery life sucks my son has a stampede 4x4 nice little powerful engine but my daughter has the old stampede the engine sucks and i would like to upgrade it , can the mamba motor fits the old stampede?

why do nitro's backfilp better than electrcic's

actually there is no backflip in this vid. however if you refer to frontflips i can easily imagine why a nitro car may do this "better". it may be due to the mechanical brakes that may have a smoother control than the electronic brakes of the esc. so a frontflip can be better controlled than with a electric car.

nope, if u get it wet, it will most likely be fried. i'm about to get one since my vxl esc needs to be sent to traxxas AGAIN. the plugs holders keep coming undone. they've had to solder 2 and now another needs to be soldered back. no complaints about the vxl motor though. it's better than any of the mamba motors.

yes its the stock pinion. the pedes are equipped with a mamba max 4600 brushless system and a "good" 7 cell battery pack. i guess if yours is still stock that would explain the difference.

i drive all my cars with the futaba 3PK. but for a electric truck like the pede i guess this doesn't bring any advantage. i have to admit i never used the stock radio.

just hit reverse in the second you leave the ramp and you'll get a frontflip, stay on throttle might result in a backflip. but always try to loose throttle in the moment you hit the ground.

Excellent driving and jumps...!!! Any major hop-ups on it (except for MM)?

just the usual mods like bumber, carriers f+r with bearings from RPM and the alu idler. on the older pede i had to replace the diff with a alu/steel diff. on the XL5 the original diff is holding up till now.
