  • @flakbac your an idiot

  • Just love these old Beatle songs. So well crafted...

  • how come mccartney aint generous with his money like elvis was matter a fact hes supposed to be notoriously cheap hje aint done nothin since the 60s nobody wants to hear his solo crap

  • @flakbac A dick troll who has no life so he spouts his worthless dip shit opinion's when no one cares what he thinks. What a loser. Go post your pussy BS on every Paul video on youtube, do you actually think anybody is impressed what a venomous little shit bag you are? Loser! Get a life!

  • @flakbac - You really should take time and do a little research before posting accusations like that there is the performing Arts college he bankrolled - the Hospital in Essex he donated a kidney machine to and also offered to fund it when the then government wanted to shut it down - there is the fact that every tour he embarks on he actually loses money but goes ahead anyway and he gives through his music - I could go on but point made I think - how much do you give to various causes?

  • A john & paul co-write...john original on the lead..well really it's them both but johns voice is prominent.

  • does the passion of some song writers turn them into frenzied stalkers?! "I'llget you in the end!" Sounds like Dastardly threatening Penelope Pitstop!

  • World's Greatest singer/songwriter...Paul McCartney.

  • I'm in Heaven when I hear old Beatles songs. Brings me back to when I was a young lad...

  • god i wish there was still all four of them performing, lets say for charity or something like that.i dont think anything could have touched them.they began it all and opened the door for many great bands to follow.although paul is alone now, this band he has put together is absolutely smashing.it gives old, middle aged and young people a of genius that will never come round again.he is 69 now and i wish him good health and a happy new marriage.thank you paul for bringing the beatles to new ears.

  • demaishhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!amooooooooooooooo

  • under rated B side great song

  • oh, paul, you makes me cry. 'cause you sing a john's song! thanks a lot! love you!

  • is there anything this man cant do? such a legend and a talent ...infinite .

  • Early Beatles was good Beatles. Love this song. Of course all the Beatle stuff was super!

  • This was done as a homage. This was a John Lennon song, even though it was credited to "Lennon/McCartney". John wrote it and sang lead vocals.

  • @observer9670 This song was written together. Ian MacDonald says fifty-fifty Lennon/McCartney.

  • 最高!

    メチャクチャにカッコいい!

    神としか思えない!

  • @flakbac Go get yourself educated in class and culture before making such low class and ignorant comment, anywhere.

  • @flakbac there must be a way to block imbeciles like you, who can't even post a comment without resorting to profanity on these sights.

  • @flakbac uh, you're on the net, look it up and find out, you lazy shit

  • Great band, of course - longest tenure of any PM bands...

  • wow -- the only "cover" version I'd heard of this before was by Robyn Hitchcock (who's looking more & more like Paul as he ages...) - 1b2s

  • Que gran cancion! me encanta esta versión más moderna de Paul! y ver a la gente disfruntando... :)

    Great song with McCartney´s style

love it how people and kids enjoy!

  • What a song

  • I'll get you... la mia preferita !!!

  • u wrong john lennon is more talented and revolucionalist at the same time

  • I Dig Silly Love songs!

  • Oh! Yeah!!!!!

  • Paul and his band do a lovely job on this, but, it's still not as good as John on the original track. Nobody can sing like John could.

  • @dougalmac54 darn right, John was very good.

  • @dougalmac54

You're damn right. John's voice was ... unbelievable, magical. BEST voice ever.

  • 1991: She hated my guts.

    1996: She forgot I existed.

2011: We are celebrating our first anniversary.

I can totally related to this song.

  • I will indeed get HIM in the end, I don't know how to do that fuckin' smiley face shit.

  • For hidden messages in Beatles songs search Truth Contest, click on The Present, click on the Beatles section. Thumbs up on this comment.

  • 2:01..she is HOT!

  • This is one of the most underrated songs The Beatles did in their early year. It's great!

It was the B-side (flip side of the 45) to She Loves You. I used to listen to it all the time.

  • @AppleGazin

I had that 45 and it was on SWAN recordsl!!!

  • @AppleGazin yes, and that record could be purchased for .80 cents at the music store

  • @Velvet4U and you still could get it for that price, likely on iTunes :) No inflation here! ;)

  • This is one of the most underrated songs. It was the B-side (flip side of the 45) to She Loves You. I used to listen to it all the time.

  • We need to give credit to the armonica. All the song blowing FTW !

  • CHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLS !

  • I can't like this as much without ringo :( no head bob from the drummer guy, no fun to watch

  • Musical genuis ! I love it ! Oh yeah, oh yeah !

  • I got chills listening to this and I am a 54 year-old grandfather. Ha. The power of the Fab Four.

  • I'm about 50 yrs younger than him, but i LOVE THIS MAN! <3

  • The second greatest song about anal sex behind The Mentors' Woman From Soddom.

  • This is one of my favorite "early" Beatles songs. I think it's so fantastic that Paul did this in concert. I think I would've cried if I saw him do this live.

  • 800 likes and 8 dislikes

  • The Beatles were a force of Nature. They showed us that with enough love, you can do just about anything. There are hidden messages and meanings in many of their songs. To find out what they are, search "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then open The Present and read the section about The Beatles.

  • @vividDC yep enough love and enough acid,

  • @vividDC

I'm sick of reading your boring shit about hidden fucking messages.

Why don't you just piss off and get a life?

Don't look for a hidden message, there isn't one.

  • @QueenReigns1 Hating is so not what Paul is about.

    .

  • @Amhlair

Wrong, he hates Japanese and 1 legged women!

  • Hear the fat distorted, juicy guitar, really an improvement to the 1963 original!

  • ‘I'll get you’? This song is just right for me now

  • No Matter what you do or where you go, your music became joy and Love. Amazing Sir Paul McCartney

  • ribmans woman, loves sir paul. respectful of his childs mom, thougjh we all know she is a viper and certainly no Linda!

  • I think Heather has gotten hers in the end; very detested,

  • @youalan1 You just need luck and being at the right place at the right moment. And be ready to spend a lot of money. I've seen Paul twice in concert. And that was in Liverpool twice !!

  • This song/video has given me hope

  • I was 14 when I first heard this song. Awesome.......

  • What kind of yuppie creep has to bring a kid too see Paul?

  • @irishace11 What a creep you are for asking such a retarded question. Well done.

  • @irishace11 Well obiously, the dad was smart enough to prevent the daughter to hear that Justin "Gayboy" Bieber and Lady Kaka shit. Thanks for commenting. LOL

  • This song has a hidden message. If you want to know what it is, search "truth contest" in Google and click on the first result. Click on "The Present" and go to The Beatles section.

  • reside yourself to me - - - - - oh yeah!

  • @saclrpfrl10 - "resign"...but, Oh Yeah!

  • @pvtpstr Ooops! Reside would have needed a "with" me instead of a "to" me.....thanks and as you said.....OhYeah!

  • I'll get Paul in the end, if only in my dreams.

  • Those of us whose lives were altered by this magic will soon fade away, but the echo will endure for as long as the world can smile.

  • @pvtpstr beautifully put

  • @soihoy - Thanks! It took me 6 shots o' gin to come up with that. I don't remember a thing!

  • This is wonderful....it's missing Lennon's harmonies.....

  • Who needs new musical output if it's no longer sincere?

Didn't know Macca had ever done this live. One of my favorite early Beatles songs.

  • Sounds like Paul wrote most of the lyrics to the verses, and John furnished the chorus or 'middle 8" as they always called it. Listen and notice how different the middle 8 is. Sounds like the song was written by two people and sewn together. What a concept. One of the things that made them so great.

  • It's especially touching when Paul sings the old tunes that were originally sung by John.

  • short, sweet, succinct..no drawn out rock n roll endings just as the song was intended on the record..great stuff Paul perfect

  • I like hearing Paul do songs where John sang lead. I wish he did a lot more. IMO it's as a good a tribute as Here Today.

  • Paul dug deep in his catalog for this tour and brought out some real gems. Amazing.

  • Good things will always be good.

  • I play this song over and over and over and over. My bf does not like this song. I wonder if this is why

  • I love this song. Paul rocks and not bad to look at!

  • Makes me love him even more than I already do! The Beatles, thank you for existing.. and for giving so many songs to attach to our memories and hearts! Life would have been so much less exciting without you boys!

  • Good recording, but the Beatles's version is the best.

  • Macca was always such a great dresser! This is reminiscent of the stuff he would wear, say, during the Wings Over America tour. So hip, so cool! Absolutely love it!

  • Aaawe, I always love seeing the old people sinking into their old memories, it shows on their faces :)

I bet when I get old I'll feel the same way, but... that's a long time away.

  • He makes me SOOOOO happy i n the end !

  • beatles best ever backside she loves you

this song is my song this youtube clip is king:)

  • Love this song....this is Beatles ever best song ever :)

  • Comment removed

  • this is backside of she loves yoy

this song is better listend it late 60-s

    on an singel vinyl :)

  • the other that is cool about Maccas performance here is that it is played "as is"..there are no indulgent guitar, drum, sustained crescendos at the end that so many rock bands do live..good on you Paul for sticking to the "I'll get You" original script!

  • It's no surprise to see so many young audience members, many of which had not been born when these songs were released. Just proves how classic these compositions are, and will be forever.

  • i dont like the drummer the emotion fat put a lot of pa paf paf sound bad really sound bad its like a bad cover

  • i wish i couldve played the harmonica part..it sounded even better when john sang it but this will do:)

  • brilliant

  • Oh yeahh! :)

  • best song best prrfofmans ever...

never cryed om years now i do

    listen ever ever to night

  • @GabCorr No you won't.

  • @GabCorr

    So do I...

  • @GabCorr the piano man is not so bad too he plays every fucking isntruments XD

  • PAUL KEEP KICKING ASS

  • I'm really happy he performed a Lennon song, shows that he truly loves his long time friend.

    Happy Birthday Lennon, R.I.P.

  • @XtrmMcjohnson They're both on the record as stating this one was co-written. My guess would be John's verses and Paul wrote the middle and the Oh Yeahs. Awesome track!

  • btw, you're all wrong, I Want To Hold Your Hand launched Beatlemania.

  • @XtrmMcjohnson It didn't launch Beatlemania in Europe. She Loves You did.

  • @XtrmMcjohnson

In America maybe, it was more like From Me To You/She Loves You in England.....

  • ....what a song !!! So sorry that John is`nt around anymore.Makes me cry.

  • ribmans woman says all the lighthearted love songs, the things that make traffic jams, long lines and rude and ignorant people tolerable were penned by paul.john had some demons that without gearge paul and ringo would have produced stuff way too ......well just o dark.t!

  • John Lennon was the Beatles. With out John Lennon the Beatles do not exist. The other member are replaceable.

  • @davidcruzing You're ignorant and I can't really blame you for that. How old are you? If you really knew the Beatles music and how much Paul contributed to it, you wouldn't make such ignorant statements. The song "She Loves You" was from Paul's initial idea. It is that song that launched Beatlemania in the the world. It was from that song in 1963 that Ed Sullivan saw the crowd at Heathrow Airport in London when the Beatles arrived in October. It was at that point he signed them for his show.

  • @dachille1

Actually in my late 40's. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. Any time you hear a Beatles' song with yeah in it you can be sure that John wrote all if not most of it. The song that launched Beatlemania was "Please, please me" another John Lennon number 1 hit. Oh "yeah" I'll tell you something. "I want to hold your hand" is what launched Beatlemania worldwide. It was John's writing style, voice and personality that brought the Beatles to worldwide fame, the others were just along for the ride.

  • @davidcruzing How come you didn't give an exact age? I am skeptical of your answer. I just looked at the Beatles 1 album and counted 20 of the 27 songs as mostly or completely written by Paul. Furthermore, Paul and John have talked about yeah, yeah yeah and have said that was Paul's idea (She Loves You launched Beatlemania in the world). Also, I Want to Hold Your Hand was written by Paul and John and John admitted that the stunning chord sequence that makes the song came from Paul.

  • @davidcruzing Furhtermore, Paul has said specifically that he wrote the "oh yeah" parts of I'll Get You. So you are wrong about it being John. Please Please Me did not launch Beatlemania. That song doesn't appear on Beatles 1 because it was never No. 1. In the US it got to No. 3 and in the UK Record Retailer (Music Week), the dominant chart in that country showed Please Please me only hit No. 2.

  • @dachille1

"Furhtermore, Paul has said specifically that he wrote the "oh yeah" parts of I'll Get You." He also said that he wrote lyrics to "In My Life" which is also a lie. McCartney's major input into any song was mostly music. Till this day he still has to ask other people to help him with lyrics because he just sucks at it. Give it up. Paul lost this battle long long ago and so have you.

  • @davidcruzing I know how to spell furthermore. Didn't you ever hear of a typo? He never said he wrote the lyrics to "In My Life." Where do you get your information? Paul has written many lyrics. You are uninformed.

  • @davidcruzing Read a book called Here, There and Everywhere by Geoff Emerick, the Beatles recording engineer. You will learn a few things.

  • @davidcruzing lol you're nuts. Not only ignorant, but you dont know enough about them to say that lennon was the man behind all of it. Sure, he founded it and created many of its most popular songs. But you seem to ignore the facts when it comes to Paul's songwriting, basslines, George's guitar licks and songs, and Ringo's drumming innovation with their songs. The Beatles would have been just another band from England if one of those members were not included.

  • @XtrmMcjohnson

"Paul's songwriting, basslines". The moon in June sort of crap. Bass lines he stole from Chuck Berry.

"Ringo's drumming innovation" Are you for real? You must be joking.

  • @davidcruzing See, you're insulting yourself by replying like this. You obviously dont know the Beatles and I wont judge your view on their music since its impossible to argue with an ignorant person. I view the beatles individually, song by song, which is why i appreciate Ringo and Paul more than you, or most people. Just listen to the bass in Rain, Hey Bulldog, Something, Oh Darling, Nowhere Man, This Boy, I could go on if you want me to.....

  • @davidcruzing Also, with Ringo, listen to songs such as Ticket To Ride, She Said She Said, Rain, Fixing A Hole, A Day In The Life, Strawberry Fields Forever, and many more i could list...just listen to Abbey Road, the drumming is great if you can appreciate good music (or drumming in this case, without any nonsense rolls or crazy double bass)

  • @davidcruzing I'll bet a $1,000 you're in your twenties or younger.

  • @jpondee Agreed, ive posted before that death turns people into a martyr and people hero worship them, it was a combination that made the beatles, im pretty sure that McCartney could have made it on his own from the start, he was more professional then john without a doubt, despite being younger..

Pete best often bigs up john, probably because he is to afraid to run him down, but states that in hamburg him and john robbed a sailor, him and john were the biggest drinkers etc

  • OMG!!!!!! I can't believe he did this song live! awwww really wish I were there, it's so rare to see him perform this xxx

  • It's nice to see that McCartney isn't too shy to cover songs which Lennon by and large wrote (or sang for that matter). By the way- did you notice Sir Paul himself looks younger than select members of his audience (even though they may actually be several years younger than him)?

  • So cool the drums are amazing !!!

  • ribmans woman asks .....is the blonde guitar player james mccartney, pauland lindas son?

  • @ribman55 James is only 33 years old.As a matter of fact,he was born just 7 days before I was)on Sep 12th,1977.

  • i keep coming back. it's like getting a fix, not that there's anything wrong with that :))

  • B side of she loves you......amazing!!

  • My God ..... I need a time machine to go back to listen to wonderful music like this. Save the incomparable Beatles.

  • this is heaven :))

  • @KORINALOVER It is time to get over the fact that Paul has always been more talented than John

  • @gbmaccafan What a total a-hole you are. Utter Nonsense.

  • @dougalmac54 he is a prick..dont wast your time with this dickhead

  • @gbmaccafan yes...sure.....get a life bitch

  • @gbmaccafan well maby not until they hippy phase

  • @gbmaccafan it's time to end this pointless arguement, the beatles wouldn't have been the beatles without the contribution of all four, who was "more talented" is completely irrelevant and nearly impossible to truly determine

  • @KORINALOVER You are wrong on all accounts. This isn't "Lennon's art". This song was written and sung by both Paul and John. You are a typical Lennon fan trying to hog all the credit for him and minimize Paul's contributions. Get your head out of the clouds and face reality. Secondly Paul is not a "faggot". If anything accusations went the other way. The way you express yourself, the only "faggot" involved seems to be you.

  • @dachille1 To many lennon worshippers that think he was the beatles, achived this status by being killed young.

go on bealtes videos and read, oh look at john, love what john said, john this that and the other, way to much hero worship.

John was an excellent singer songwiter, but sadly he aint no McCartney, If it wasnt for paul the beatles would not have become famous, lennon was always shouting his mouth off and causing fights and wanting mates in the band.

    Paul was the driving force

  • @dachille1 your mommy dont thinks the same.....

  • I love the fact that he did this, out of the Beatles songs, this one. You'd never think it. It's just awesome. He pulled out a lot of songs you never thought he would. It's great.
