It is that song that launched Beatlemania in the the world. It was from that song in 1963 that Ed Sullivan saw the crowd at Heathrow Airport in London when the Beatles arrived in October. It was at that point he signed them for his show.

It was John's writing style, voice and personality that brought the Beatles to worldwide fame, the others were just along for the ride.
