  • Mark Lanegan and Josh Homme harmony gives the chorus a more haunting feel to it...great tune.

  • One of my QOTSA favorites...Still think I Wanna Make it Wit Chu is the best song on this album, though. All time favorite QOTSA song? Probably 'You Would Know". (They just happy robots/Live on hill of beans/You and I, cut from same cloth/Rip-pin' at the seams...)

  • This song is outstanding.

  • This song is fantastic, but the first few times it played in my car, I always thought there was an ambulance behind me. And now sometimes I think this song is playing when there's ACTUALLY an ambulance behind me.

  • Posted on the wrong account, didn't want my brother, snakejon7, to get credit for my opinions.

  • Why do I dig Queens of the Stone Age? Because they don't WRITE AND RECORD SONGS, they CREATE MUSIC. Actual music, not 3-chord, radio ready, prepackaged pop meant to hit, sell some records, sell some tickets, and fade out so you never knew it was there so the next big thing can sweep in and you won't notice they're exactly the same as the last big thing, just younger and with a hipper haircut. No, Josh Homme and Co. (forgive me for abbreviating, if you're anal) CREATE MUSIC for MUSIC LOVERS.

  • @YourLordthyGod Not 3 chord ain't exactly true.Or false.Dig QOTSA deaper friend..Music is about expression

  • Anyone else think that this song sounds like it should be in Lullabies rather than Era Vulgaris?

  • when this comes on in the car, i'm always relieved the cops aren't behind me.

  • Quality song. This album has a few really good tracks on it, just hope the new one won't follow in these footsteps.

  • there's a river in my road.... : /

  • Hearing this song high is the best thing in life!

  • i rly disliked the album but this song is genius

  • i get high listening to QOTSA (especially this song)

    WITHOUT DRUGS!!

  • @6SuperRAJA

    bravoooooooo

    (duchbag....)

  • @zizizzzzz

    bad grammarrrrrrrrrrrr

    (douche bag)

  • Haunting song. Love it.

  • Mmm one of the more underrated tracks, on an underrated album.

  • QOSTA=ORIGINAL AND AMAZING!!!!!!!

  • perfection. chills me out.

  • this song is fast and slow at the same time GENIUS

  • The more I listen to this song the better it gets

  • qotsa over the grunge

  • Awesome song that still sends a chill up my spine!

  • Best song on Era Vulgaris.

  • this song, in my opinion is verrrrrry different to alot of there stuff (obviously there music is different) but i mean in the sense this song feels very indie to me along with the desert rock influences. dont get me wrong gotsa are my favourite band and i fuckin love this song. just stating i feel a different genre on this song. thanks for uploading this buddy

  • ahh... very nice song:) Queens of the Stone Age one of my favourite :)

  • yeah dude, kyuss kicked a ton of ass too

  • Besides Turning of the Screw, I like this song as well. :)

  • This song goes perfect with a scene of zombies approaching to a little house and then they start to eat everybody inside.

This is one of the best at Era Vulgaris

  • so hot.

  • They should totally keep doing albums

  • agreed

  • incroyable!!!

  • Grab what slips your mind and what your memory won't hold.

Such a godly line. Sounds so wise while saying nothing at all.

  • it says sth

  • If by commercial you mean more poplular, then perhaps. It's very sad to see a band's fans quit on them once they become sucessful. But it all comes down to the fan wanting something only they know about.

QOTSA ruled then and they still do.

  • Lullabies To Paralyze is my favourite album. In My Head is my favourite song by QOTSA closely followed by I Think I Lost My Headache. QOTSA are gods to me, there isn't a single song I dislike. All there albums have me hooked.

  • @AQueenOfTheStoneAge you said it. can't wait for the new one

  • Josh...u rule!

  • I Love this Song!! amazing guitar

  • and whoever thinks lullabies was commerial is just plain retarded. that was definately an album album not a singles album. the ones they released on single from that album were imo the worst ones. the highlights were: this lullaby everybody knows your insane tangled up in plaid i never came someone's in the wolf the blood is love skin on skin broken box youve go a killer scene there man long slow goodbye. go listen again
  • I personally believe they got the singles perfect. In My Head was my favourite song from that album. Along with Burn The Witch, Little Sister, Someones In The Wolf and The Blood Is Love.

  • i wish people would stop slaggin off lullabies and fingering themselves to songs for the deaf. it seems to me all the knucklheaded close minded people like the songs for the deag album solely without giving lullabies a chance because all they want is some heavy riffs to get drunk to. for example cockman1331 below. although i do like songs for the deaf, lullabies is so much more creative and interesting. dont judge an album by their singles.

  • i agree--first album was best, second wasn't bad either...nick made them

  • nick oliveri wasn't even in the band for their first album

  • i stand corrected then. thank you.

  • Que homem sexy!

  • Their best album is not even available. Peace n Carrots.

  • if you like queens of the stone age you'll like all cds recorded by them because they aren't comercial yet like other bands. of course i like most rated R than lullabies but they are still doing a great music

    am i wrong?

  • oh hell yeah!!!

Lullabies is a far far better album than Rated R.

  • i don't think so, i like rated R because is an album where they play THEIR music - i don't know how to say it because i'm from argentina and i can't find the proper words- but lullabies -i think- is a little bit commercial

tell me what do you think

  • i can see what you mean but i think its not so much commercial as much as just kind of moving in a different direction, like songs for the deaf was

  • no you are not wrong I liked Lullabies because it was darker and somehow more subconscious than the other more angst-ridden Songs for the deaf.

  • @andrestcotv I love rated R, por cierto eres (mejor dicho: sos) de argentina? hehe

  • best song from era vulgaris

  • totally agree this is not their best album

  • but is better than lullabies to paralyze

  • era vulgaris is THE best album i own!

  • You must not own any of their older albums.

Not that this one isin't amazing but its not their best :P

  • its my favourite nob head!

  • Mehhh It might be your favourite but its not their best you british moron.

  • o im hurt you fat fuckin twat, go and start a war with some monkey's who have 'weapons of mass destruction'!

  • Lol first of all I'm not fat, second why don't you send more men to Iraq so we can shoot them, how about that?

  • cool so glenneth2 is now george bush...sweet

  • this song is awesome!

i really regret i skipped their concert here couple of months ago ;/

  • :O :O :O

    WHY!?!!?

  • couldnt afford it! :((((

  • this song is addictive!! i think this is really the best on era vulgaris

  • This song is fu**ing awsm I listened to this song 1000 times when it came out last year ,the new cd is good but not as good as the old ones I think their next albume will be grate the atmosphere in the band is I think good. I dont't have one favored song by qotsa most of them are good exept six shooter on songs for the death :)

  • six shooter is ace, they are all brilliant.

  • Yeah, Gonna Leave You is one of my favourites from that album too!

  • however i do love mosquito song.

  • is it on that album? i dont know but i like it.

  • the Mosquito Song was on Songs for the Deaf.

  • so great!

    I should bring it out.

  • fuckn love the queens best band ever!! anything josh homme does is gold and mark lanegan is a god!!! love this track its so dark!!!! i saw them couple weeks ago when they played in new zealand and then flew to sydney in australia to watch them the weekend after best show i have ever seen i threw my shirt on stage to josh and he picked it up and wiped his sweat with it and then took it with him!! best time ever!!!

  • yeah...good job...josh and mark are gods. i´m with ya...qotsa4ever

  • @cRaBuLaR mark lenagan?

  • @MrWhak yea he sings backing vocals in the chorus dude

  • I got freaked out every time I play this in my car.
