  • dude this is really quiet, i don't get it at all.

  • thanks :) all the sheet music sucks

  • Did you learn this piece from sheet music or transcribe it by ear from the recording? It seems much closer to what Tori plays on Little Earthquakes than the sheet music I bought. I was just wondering if there is some source for better pop sheet music, or if pop music simply has to be played by ear in order to accurately reproduce the sound heard on a recording.

  • @virtuallyayla I learnt to play this from sheet music - there is a link in the video's info to a yahoo group where you can download Winter and dozens of other Tori sheets for free. Let me know if you have any trouble x

  • E flat??? lol,ive really never heard that till now(though i knew it was there) lol, well thanks for the vid..it helped alot that you named then instead of making us folllow along like most videos:)

  • i like your voice so much, sounds like tori.. alittle bit..

  • I am sorry to be a pain in the arse because I’ve just posted on your Leather vid but it’s such a shame you keep referring to black keys as “flat”. Anyone writing down the notes as you’re saying them will end up all over the place and wondering what the hell they’ve done wrong!!

White keys – FLAT. Black keys – SHARP.

  • @ParlyCharly I don't know who taught you music theory, but you should ask for your money back xx

  • @ParlyCharly not to be rude/smart but a black key can be flat and sharp at the same time. the whites are called naturals:)

  • @ParlyCharly Uhhh...wrong Parly dude. It totally depends what key you're in...For example, in the key of G, F is sharp...meaning once you get to the F, you have to play the "black key" above it in order for the scale to sound correct...G, A, B, C, D, E, F#...so, since you're going up one black key relative to the F, that makes it a sharp...in the key of F, B is flat...meaning once you get to the B, you must go DOWN one black key in order for it to sound right...F, G, A, Bb, C, D, E...however,

  • Respond to this video... If you were playing in the key of A # minor, the SAME key that was Bb in the previous scale would now become A# since you are substituting it for the A. Get it? You're welcome.

  • @ParlyCharly P.S...Winter is played in the key of Eb Minor...which is Eb, F, Gb, Ab, Bb, Cb, Db..

  • I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to make these 4 videos, this is one of my favorite songs and I've wanted to play it for a while. I promise you I won't let your time go to waste. I like videos like these because I'm not very good at reading sheet music, I'm more of a visual learner. I will post it on my account in a few months when I get it done and you can let me know how I did. I just wanted to take a few seconds to thank you for helping me get this dream off the shelf.

  • those links aren't valid anymore :((

the vid is awesome but i need to see the music sheets as well to understand it better xD

could you please reupload any of them? that would be awesome.

anyway, thanks for this amazing video! <3 cheers

  • @lily14011807 Lame. Sorry, I don't have the pdf of this, I just found that link. I checked the Figure it Out link - that still works (you can join the group and download the sheet music software for free). Hope it works xxPippa

  • I'm already playing it thanks of you!! I love you soo much thank you!! Could I ask you for "bake baker" tutorial? I allways wanted to play that one but I can't find the sheet music anywhere

  • @keniapowa I'm kicking myself for learning Baker Baker two years ago, and then forgetting how to play it. I NEED to learn that song again! I promise I'll do the tutorial for you as soon as I can xxPip

  • You are a pretty good teacher as well :)

  • this is wonderful! thank you so much pippa, i've been struggling along trying to learn this by ear but your video saved me! : )

    -tash

  • @tasha18telusnet Hi Tash, no problem at all, I'm really glad this is helpful xxPippa

  • Thanks again! You have no idea how grateful I am. I love Tori but I just started playing the piano and her songs are still pretty difficult for me...with your precious help and clear explanations I am really learning faster and improving my skills. So from the bottom of my heart...thank you very much!

  • @rossellavacchelli :) you're very welcome! I thought it was about time I redid this one, made it a bit clearer. I'll do my best to get the rest of the song up soon, I'm so glad you found it helpful. Keep playing xxPippa
