Jump on a side of the car, and jump, then punch down a lot. This will eventually cause the car to go upside down.

In jak 2 I always manage to blow up my hovercar but still sitting in it. Jak is alive but I have no HP, can't get out of the vechile and there are crimson all over the place shooting on me
