This kind of effort would have to take population control, sacrifices over revenue from natural resources such as oil which would put a lot of people out of business. There are solutions such as solar, wind, hydro energy but that will not stop humanity from making dumb decisions. Wealth will always be the prime factor as an obstacle in our evolution.

Well actually every organism will try to populate as much as they can as long as they can survive and leave off offspring. i.e. Bacteria inhabits the entire planet but their resources get recycled/or they break down things. The first matrix movie was full of very interesting ideas. That's why I liked it. Smith may be more or less right in his speech, but humans are improving in this way. They tend to respect more the environment now by for example making less polluting cars, by recycling. Environmental problems tend to be more discussed by politicians then they used to be.

In this context it's being stated that Material things that we are creating are wasting our natural resources and causing negative effects on our environment. 2nd nature does have a harmony, it's cyclical. 3rd your statement about the Earth one day being destroy basically means you don't give a f*#$ cuz' you'll die 1 day aka fear

Well actually every organism will try to populate as much as they can as long as they can survive and leave off offspring. i.e. Bacteria inhabits the entire planet but their resources get recycled/or they break down things. Although we consume, our resources are really just in our waste, our body and our homes/buildings. The thing is we consume as much as we can for the "economy" when we don't necessarily need to. Thus leading to higher costs...for everything and poorer life quality.

The first matrix movie was full of very interesting ideas. That's why I liked it. Smith may be more or less right in his speech, but humans are improving in this way. They tend to respect more the environment now by for example making less polluting cars, by recycling. Environmental problems tend to be more discussed by politicians then they used to be.

It is very thought provoking which makes it so much better than the usual rubbish. apparently there is like 0.5% difference between us and monkeys. Gorillas not sure where live near a volcano.
