the dream team would not have had that auro if they had been an NBA team. Many stars don't make a better team. A real team is something different, and those Bulls had that extra thing, that spirit. the dream team didn't have it, and they didn't need it.

It's not just about who wins or how talented they are or how dominant they can be. I'm from Barcelona, so we remember very well the dream team. it was not really a competition, it was too easy for them as to develop skills as a human group. But those guys were really competing, in a very competitive league, and had not only talent, but that spirit of competition that makes a team become a champion. the dream team was more an addition of great players than a team for competition.

Im a die hard bulls fan but i have to disagree with you. The 92 dream team was the best team in sports history. michael jordan, scottie pippen, charles barkley, david robinson, karl maone, john stocton, magic johnson, larry bird. No team could ever beat that team

This was Hal Douglas' first year of narrating NBA Championship Videos..he would continue to do them until 1998..when Will Lyman took over..both were absolutley awesome at it.

Despite the fact that the 95-96 Bulls have the NBA record for regular season wins, I think the 91-92 squad was actually better. They had only 5 fewer wins, but faced much stiffer competition in my opinion. Thanks for posting this.

Mike Wilbon a sports writer from Chicago and co-host of ESPNs PTI says the same thing. Personally I dont know. Thats a touch call. That 96 team was tough.

It is a tough call, but as a Bulls fan no opponent rattled me as much as the early 90's Knicks. In 1992 and 1993 it really did look like they could unseat the Bulls. Overcoming that obstacle is the biggest feather in the Bulls' cap, IMO.

rodman would have been the x-factor. the knicks physical presence would have been absorbed by Rodman's skill/antics. leaving scottie and mike to tear those Knicks apart just like in 1991! BUlls 96 best bull team!

I specifically remember watching an NBA on NBC game where Marv Albert said the exact opposite, that when asked, Jordan and Pippen both said they thought the team from the first three peat was better. And Rodman said he thought the detroit title teams were better than the late 90s bulls

The closest thing the Bulls had to competition in '96 was Seattle pushing them to a 6th game,and don't forget Indiana splitting the regular season series against them either.

Ya there's no doubt about it. There's no one else on the league, and I don't think no one ever will, who had as much heart as Michael. When Jordan was playing, it was all about the game to him. Nowadays, players get distracted by trivial things. Greed is the usual suspect. I've never seen so many players now who cry like babies on their contracts. Play hard like Jordan and the money will come to you imo.

The good old days. This was my first full NBA season as a fan. I'd watch Chi-town win in the Finals from the previous year and was hooked. This was the true NBA. Great basketball for a kid to watch!!!!!
