Hey Serena! Barb here. You are so funny. You have such a great attitude! And yes, you are entertaining and funny too. When I came out to my folks, 2 days after turning 18, the whole room turned sideways. And I was just telling them I was gay. So you did good in handling it I think. We have to be kinda gentle with them. LOVE your blogs! Keep it up, you are giving hope to a lot of people!!! It isn't easy getting to be who we really are, you are making it easier for many!!! Serena: Each of us has to handle our situation in our own way. I didn't tell my family until after I left home and got out of the Air Force in 1975. I told my mother by phone and eventually it turned out very well. You are very pretty and have a wonderful feminine voice...you'll be fine...just fine. Hang in there, sweetie.

Yes "True Selves" is probably one of the best books on the subject, but requires the reader to be interested i the subject and to have an attention span of more than 30 seconds! But it's good.

yeah that smile lightens up any room. wish mine did. Don't you think the physco theropy was a good thing? cause didn't it prove to them, your parents you realy are TG? My family has finally except me more or should i say not look at me as a weirdo as much. I'm exstatic i started going back to mental health center.

Well being diagnosed as TG might had been a good thing if my therapist would have actually communicated with my parents. I still thing my jounrals did more good in telling my parents who I really was than the therapist. I finally quit going cause I thought it was a waste of money.
