  • love the vtr. you got some good cornering going on there. nothing like a good rider on a 250 against a n00b on a supersports to show the difference between riding skill and machine power.

  • Because its fun and there is a lot of satisfaction in rounding up riders on faster bikes. Ive done plenty of trackdays on 600-1000cc sports bikes.

  • a VTR250... honestly why would u even take that to the track...

i rode one for my P's test coz my sports bike doesnt turn well and it was like riding a scooter.

  • cool vid mate, you were rounding up the big boys, I used to have a VTR250 years ago. top bike I used to ride it more than my R1

  • Great Vid!!!! Im thinking of heading there with my baby blade =D

  • Do it!

You will love it and you'll improve your riding.

  • The camera is mounted on the frame just in front of my left knee.

  • Great vid mate. I've got a 2006 VTR250, it looked like you were gonna take those bigger bikes too!

  • not a bad run dude

I have a vtr as well.

    where is your camera located?

  • Are you gonna do any customisations to it? coz i have the same bike and have done a few, so i have a few ideas on what will work and whats better, also if you know anything that will work on the vtr250 (performance wise) i would appreciate it if you could share it with me, thanks.

  • a bigger bike, it's not worth the money or the hit to your resale to mod it.

  • It's already modded, i can't have a bigger bike for 2 yrs, i don't mind spending a bit of money on it and also i could do all the engine work myself.

  • screw 160kph. I was going to ask if that was an sv (suzuki taillight) but I see your comment about the gsxr 1000. 160kph is for rookie straightaways. passing 650's and up is for a two wheeled jug handling fiend. haha

  • i have a 2000 vtr nice bikes good for learners. gfot mine up to 160kph a few days ago

  • nice vid

  • nice... please get rid of the sound from the video:P

got a fright coz im wearing headphones haha

  • ha ha

yeah this was the first video id put together and hadnt really learned movie maker. I prob should go back and adjust the sound level and add music.

  • awesome

  • Completely stock VTR with Dunlop Arrowmax GT501 tyres.

  • is it standard? road tires?

  • ha ha 2:20 is pretty slow, I would have been a bit quicker if have to avoid the GSXR1000 in turn 7, but still I would have been happier with 2:10

I need to get my arse off the seat more so im not scraping pegs ... and carry much more speed thru T2, T5 and T7 in particular.

  • they are the good lines thru there he knows the track that is for sure!

  • cool, i have a vtr and i know i can beat bigger bikes on many roads but never thought the same on a raceway! lol vtr powahh
