I have a 5 speed 2.2 chev cav and can someone please give me a reason why anyone would soupe up a cavalier it only has about 115 hp and a stock civic can beat a cavalier with 1grand put into it
@linf543 your retarted.. the ecotecs produce about 140 hp and about 125hp at the wheels depending on how old/ miles the car is.. i have an 04 ls sport coupe cavy 5 speed and it shits on anything in its class... all i have is SRI in it and new headers and a performance chip.

I own a 1999 Cavy and I am planning on dropping a 350 small block in it sideways. The engine has 500 horse right out of crate. Then I plan on putting either a twin turbo charger or a super charger on it. Then headers, true quad exhaust. I'm going to put as much carbon fiber on it as I can remove all unnecessary weight put racing seats in it and convert it to rear wheel drive. I figure it will be between 750 & 800 horse
i've owned a cavalier for 3 years and just got a d16y8 civic ex and that cavalier is a pos. it ran awesome as far as dependability wise but that civic will wax it.
one more question, how the hell do you miss 2nd? lol its straight back.
