@MrBananaspot Because they also have a massive dance routine to perform. E.g towars the end were they're not singing at all. It just means there won't be this awkward pause when they need to take a break. They don' use it that much in songs like lonely etc because there's no dance routine.

Honestly, I think Minzy is the best among 2NE1 when it some to singing live. She doesn't scream into the mic but held it close so people are able to hear her voice. She also keeps it in position so her voice doesn't shake so much. And finally, despite moving around so much and growing tired, she doesn't breathe through the mic.

In other words, she's singing live very cleanly and clearly.

@SomeoneOwnsMe When i see someone shouting into the microphone, I take it that they are energetic and excited to sing. Personally, I think that's a good thing. Of course, not saying Minzy isn't being energetic and excited just cause she isn't shouting. Shouting into the microphones means that whoever is singing is obviously having fun, which makes a performance much more worth while in my opinion. CL is a perfect example of this, I think it's what makes CL so popular. XD
