  • She is so cute

  • too bad I don't look at the side of my computer monitor when im using it...

  • @cheeezstik The reason for thin monitors is for more space.

Like me, I have a thin monitor not like the one there but a normal thin one, and I have a small desk so it works well

  • @SuperHobo1234567 If 2-4 inches more makes your desk uncomfortable then its really time to get a new one

  • @cheeezstik Yea most likely.

  • I love how i can browse through shinymedia videos and always end up with 240p videos.

  • 24" and 120hz or more with price under 300$, please. :)

  • WHY DOES EVERY VIDEO ON HDTV'S HAVE AT LEAST ONE PORN COMMENT!

  • @Zaroon115 because! the internet is for porn ... maybe ... just maybe... JK

  • We didn't get to see the side?

  • If you call them Televisions instead of TVs, then you need to stop making tech videos..

  • so what its thin you look at the screen more than the thickness sony u fail

  • @elKavernikola

    i think me too XD

  • how can u watch porn in those little monitor ?

  • Televisions

  • still need digital tuner and digital interfaces and speakers....means box attached to this "screen"...

  • since it is sony, I'm presuming they are looking at puting the OLED screen on the PSP sometime in the future... :)

  • this is the new big thing and the price will come down. Remeber the RAZR. It started at 500+ dollars and is now free in just a couple of years.

  • its not free!

  • WOOOW!!! OLED TV's, another technological marvel. I remember the first 43" plasma screens at The Good Guys that was selling for $25,000. And now this.. the OLED. LOL AMAZING!!!

  • these screens can be made flexible,

i can imagine havin to move to a different house and folding up my tv under my arm!!!instead of having two people carry a huge, heavy tv!!!!

    picture that!!!!

  • Base is way to big. Looks stupid.

  • OMG, lol, at the start, here head moves and the jaw stays in the same place

  • Witch will it be Sonys OLED?, Mithcubishis LASER TV? or Phillips Wowx 3d monitors?.

    What do you guys think?

  • sony oled. very few flaws other than the fact that making it very large is expensive at the moment.

  • @JJOSamsung in 2010 thats not true ;)

  • bu is it even better than lcd technology is it even bendeble is it full hd ready???

now let,s hope that sony will also put it,s bravia pro engine into it, to ansure that all programs no matter hd or sd, will be all great.

  • In every important metric, yes.

Bendable yes (and LCD is not)

Note Sony is first to market but they don't have an exclusive use, OLED was designed by Kodak believe it or not. Sony is just getting first mover to reap the landslide of money that will go to these screens once more people see them (think photographs that move)..these screens will quickly obsolete LCD, Plasma and put the final coffin in CRT's(graphics people claim they were still useful but that is dead dead dead now)..yay for tech!

  • The speakers sound terrible but the picture is very good

  • So basically, anyone who has bought an HDTV is gonna have to go and buy one of the OLED TVs in a few years time. lol

  • Plasma is still going to be better. Sony neglected to tell everyone that the electrics ares tuffed into the 2 inch thick base. What a crock.

  • Can't aggree with that. I've seen upwards of a dozen plasma screens in homes of people I've known/know and on the larger screens none of them compare to current LED technology let alone OLED.

  • Plasma is bigger, more expensive (when you compare equal production volumes significantly so), has horribly worse resolution, contrast, color reproduction, is extremely energy inefficient, can't be made flexible, can't be made transparent (yes transparent)...there is no comparison at all of OLED to any display technology. In every metric it kills every previous product, do yourself a favor and buy stock (in producers and materials suppliers, particularly the maker of the organic polymers) now.

  • OLED has been longly anticipated. The advantage of OLED are thin, low power consumption, fast respond and vivid color. The disadvantage is the blue color faded after about 10,000 hours of playing. If this limitation is overcomed, then OLED will kill LCD and Plasma.

  • the blue polymer life has been steadily increasing, Sony has bet (and I say it will be a big win for them) that it will be on par with red and green by the time they can ramp up production (by 2 years time or so)...when that happens..say goodbye to anything that isn't OLED. Not only is OLED significantly better but it will be significantly cheaper as production is dead simple compared to plasma, CRT or LCD. It is art in engineering defined.

  • I don't care what contrast is because I would probably need binoculars to see a tiny 11" screen if I'm sitting at a couch several feet away. However deep inside sony labs hides a 27" model, but when the 11" is $2500 the 27" will probably be like $4000-$5000.

  • Oh don't worry, the price will come down probably faster than any consumer product in history (there's my prediction) and the size will increase almost as fast, scaling is simple and does not have a square of cost with linear area increase like LCD or plasma. Another prediction, in no more than 5 years there will be 50"(just over 4 feet across) OLED displays for purchase for about $1,500. I said it, 50" and you'll be able to take the box out the store your self with the screen under your arm. ;)

  • oled kill plasma

  • I'm speechless.

    oO'

  • imean ok if a crt bothers you and its too big, but the normal lcds are small / tin enough.

  • FULL-HD 1^000,000 CONTRAST

  • what's the res?

  • this is hot. gotta get mi hands on that.

cute accent too you have. lol

  • 1.000.000:1 !!!!!

  • COOL

  • These have being available at the Sony Style store since November of last year. They are IMPRESSIVE! the details are so realistic that you think whatever you're watching is right in front of you to touch. They started at $1,799.99 and a week before Christmas the price jumped to $2,499.99.

  • they have oled tvs, but thy are not that thin and thy are not 1000000:1 contras ratio

  • dude yes they are 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and it supports FULL HD 1090P@60FPS

  • so why didnt it show how thin it was?

  • the price is like 2500, i saw it on G4 techtv

  • hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhcdtf6r7yujhxdftyujhcxdtyuijhxdfrtyhjnbv xgyhnb xyujhnbvc xdrftyujhbvc xfuikj cghj cghjb cfgyhujhbc xcftgyuhcx f

  • 100,000:1 is on Par with CRT. It's only 'amazing' for any tech outside of CRT since they've always had unimpressive low contrast ratios over the years. But now at CES 08, we're seeing some awesome stuff, like sonys OLEDS(although the large displays wont be hitting until 2011) and Mitsubishis 'LASER HDTVS' which are really impressive as well and for now they're what I'm interested in, although OLED will be the future.

  • if its 1000000/1 it will be crap cause its to many lines going across the screen = you will not see any diff lmao!

  • dude, what are you talking about?

  • lol thats kool, id be happy with a 16inch one

  • welcome in to the future :) I like it :D

  • 1000000/1 waaa fuck that shit lol

  • Make it available for under £100!.. please?

  • Make it available to a portable system like the PSP.

  • now make it available on a laptop

  • @secretorganisation and now... what do you think about this 3 years later? this realy interessts me!
