that doesn't have to do with its reliablity, just means its gas mileage sucks. For a car that goes 243 mph the veyron is really really really reliable. thats one reason why it costs so much, compared to say a 1000 hp TT corvette that costs under 80k, or a car just running on boost, because most of the time the car needs to cool off or repairs after a full throttle run. plus it's also a bugatti.

i would think that a 1000 hp car with four turbochargers, 7-speed transmission and awd would break down so easily. thats a lot for the engine to operate. now if it was electric... i could believe it was reliable.

They said on Top Gear the other day that Veyron costs 5 million pounds to make and it's sold for 850,000. Obviosly, everything was well thought out and best materials were used. It was built to last at least for 20 years and each screw costs about 600 euros.
