hi, i sorry for asking so may questions, but i read that you pre mix a lot of your colors. is that generally your process and do you have a system for the way you lay them out on the palette. do you mix color strings or anything like that. i dont suppose you could do a video lesson on your approach to color could you?
@ebutuoyjg no no questions is good! I premix a couple of important colors in the subject, so that when I start painting I have some mixtures that aren't too far off. (impossible to get exactly correct though). Kind of to set the key of the colors in the painting and to save time (not mix everything from scratch). For model I often mix the colors of the background etc before the model arrives. Sometimes I do mix transitions between 2 colors (or between 2 mixed piles) but no strict system there.
Looks like you can just take it off the canvas and eat it..
