I've seen him use Axe kicks, hook kicks, and various spin kicks, some of which are NOT in the curriculum. Is it possible that perhaps Cung Le uses Taekwondo under the Sanshou training rules and borrows from the curriculum to produce a better taekwondo than what is taught more famously?
@azraelangelofred Spin kicks are used in sanshou alot although you mostly see the sidekick and roundhouse being applied the most. You can definitely see his taekwondo at times in his fights but his throws, sweeps, and kicking techniques are mostly sanshou, but you are entirely correct about his use of taekwondo kicks as well.
