I dont care that it puts the thumbnail in the middle. The only problem I have is if I leave the page too quickly after it says, :YOUR VIDEO SETTINGS HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFULLY SAVED! That the thumbnail is that gay ass gray camera.....

only YT partners get to upload a thumb

to become partner you need 1k+ subers (i think)

to only way to get a good good thumb for normal tubers is to be lucky :D

That's why you have to make a timer in your video, find where the thumbnails are, add your thumbnail, remove timer, and upload!

Or You can let the thumbnail last out the end of your video.

fraid this old trick wont work anymore. I think they've changed it to make it pretty unpredictable. However, it did work once when I put the thumbnail at the very beginning but not after that

I mean, it still picks a thumbnail from around the middle as your center thumbnail... but it used to be DEAD in the middle and now it can be anywhere AROUND the middle so it's not very predictable

There is a way you can set your desired thumbnail... Of course even without YouTube-partnership.

There is a video at my channel wich describes two methods, which worked in late 2010.
