  • ebay; famicom 40 euros shipping 70 euros :l

  • A couple years ago, I did this by accident. I immediately told my brother that someone on our street was a Chinese spy.

  • this is too cool what an awesome thing to do

  • have done this with my NES and my SUPER NES bee for eveing a 2 old can do this buddy

  • I tried it, it doesnt work.

  • @EarthwormJim55 If you live in an area with lots of FM radio stations it might not work at all. Check on a digital radio tuner if there's any local stations broadcasting on 95.75 and 101.75 MHz. Also your console's RF mod. could be slightly mistuned.

  • @133MHzz I live in the usa and there are alot of fm radio stations where I am. I guess there less of them in chile.

  • @EarthwormJim55 Actually I live in Santiago and frankly the FM radio band is a huge mess. Not a single silent spot for your iPod transmitter and sometimes you can hear two stations overlapping on the same channel! I can't even play my Famicom thru RF because of the severe interference, but yeah big cities suck in that aspect. My friend who lives in a small-ish rural town gets to play Famicom in crystal-clear RF quality because the FM band is sparsely populated over there.

  • @133MHzz wait a minute! I think I did something wrong I will try again.

  • QUE Suerte, tienes el famicom. De donde lo conseguiste

  • talk about FM synthesis!

  • Very cool video, now i understand why my famicom video output is like Shit. Look´s like the AV Mod is the best option.

I´m Strider from RG. ¡Take care!

  • I remember having walkie-talkies when I was a kid that I could talk through the TV with. But thats child's play compared to this. Now this is great.

  • What's that SFC game?

  • Cool. I've heard that Analog NTSC US/Canada channel 6 can be heard on the extreme beginning of an FM radio. seems to work on the same principle since the sound carrier is 87MHz or close to it. As I look into it, Canadian channel 5 should work on a Japanese Radio as its on 81MHz. Cool stuff.

  • Indeed. I've done the exact opposite of what you said: If there's a local radio station in your area broadcasting in the vicinity of 87 MHz, you'll be able to listen to it by tuning your TV into VHF channel 6.

As for Channel 5, it actively broadcasts in my area so I'm able to listen to its audio program with my cheap MP4 player's FM radio by setting it to Japanese mode ;-).

  • サンドラの大冒険 (Xandra no Daibouken)

  • Ah, thanks.

  • whatup i have question i have ibm t41 i want fix the battery this battery dont show the number i dont know the numer if you can help me please tks :)

  • Nice! Could you do this with about anything?

  • Only Japanese video game consoles with RF out.

  • Awesome!

  • Very cool man!! Thanks for sharing...

  • You can do the same with the video signal. I remember the time when I could watch my neighbor playing his famiclone in his apartment above ours while I was sitting in front of my parents' tv.

  • Second that! It happened to me too! I was tuning the TV and then saw a black n white gameplay of Rockman, which is coming from my neighbour's TV..

  • The crazy thing was that some friends told me that the tv somehow recorded your gameplay and showed it. as a kid i believed it :D
