I've been bowling for about 9 months now. It took about 3 months of every day practice for my first 200 game, and after that it started to come. As it stands, I've shot a high game of 264 and a high series of 723. Really, what helped me is relaxing. When you're tense, you end up muscling, target missing... being calm is the main thing, and spare shots. A 9 spare game gives you 190, an 8 spare game 180 etc. Once you can hit all those spares, that average will zoom up.
oh man i love the way they throw i cannot imitate it and i cant consistently score over 150 average i am so terrible. it is frustrating to play bowling for over 2 months and still feel like i am terrible at it :( any tips?
by the way the commentators acted when paul went wide the 1st shot (which was only on the 5 board) i think they would shit themselves watching the pba tour on sundays here in america!!

@tainle the best tips I can give you are this...
1. It's only been 2 months relax it'll come to you
2. Stop looking at the score, learning the fundementals is what's important right now (that will inflate your scores dramatically)
3. Practicing spare shots is FAAAAR more important than practicing strike shots. Spares win games not strikes. :)

What lane pattern is this?
SoopaBowler 2 years ago 3
a house pattern. they always lay very easy lanepattern for the weber cup
andisch1568 2 years ago
house shot, they figured they would have alot of 300 games if they just leave it on house shot
bowlingxxxxxxxxxxxx 2 years ago
They do. The first year I guy for Europe shot one. Chris Barnes shot 2 in the Weber Cup. And Tommy Jones has a 300 in the Weber Cup too.

indiansoph59 3 years ago
no way, guys not that accurate. i mean hes good, but no where near PBA standards. he missed a chance to perform in the tenth. theres an example

does anyone know what ball Jason is using?

yup....

Jason's ball makes it seem like he has more revs than Robert Smith and Jason Belmonte.
Wolfman12395 3 years ago
it has to be the side rotation that Couch puts on the ball, while robert and belmo stay more behind the ball
