  • this sounds pretty modern, really. some of it reminds me of the older journey stuff before perry, and other parts remind me of the nineties. ahead of the times, man. :)

this is great though, i love it!

  • Finally picked up "Neal Schon & Jan Hammer Collection: No More Lies"

Some solid sings can be found on it and someone needs to upload "Hooked on love" on here :-)

Thank you rojojo64 and You Tube for getting a sneak peek!

  • I used to have this album too!!! I absolutly loved it!!!

  • Good sh!t. Thnx for posting this!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • OMG! I Found it! I love this album! Neal ROCKS!!! Thanks for the Posting! 7,005 Views and 22 ratings?? Hummmm...

  • love neal singing voice

  • Wow, this brings back my youth in San Jose..Man I am 46, my lat parent died in 2007..Amazing how fast time goes by.

  • the Keytar....

  • Jan Hammer!

  • I guess a lot of people don't realize that it's Neal's voice that does all the high background vocals in Journey back in the days of the Perry era. Nowdays Deen pretty much takes care of that and Neal concentrates more on just smokin' them strings! He does still sing harmony though on a lot of songs.....

  • Someone said Neal's not a singer?Of course he isn't, otherwise how could he produce those beautiful harmonies with Steve and Gregg and then later with Jon.Some people put up the dumbest comments.I'd like to see them see half as good as he does.

  • can anyone actually spell Neal's name right lol you say you are fans but you just can't get the name right its N.e.a.l lol

  • wow i know!

FANS! ITS NOT SPELLED WITH AN I, ITS AN A!

  • ahhhh im so obsessed with him!

i need to meet him like now!!!

    if he only knew...

  • Wow girl... u got it bad :-)

  • HAHA yeahh i know dude.

    it suxx.

but im not that obsessed anymore.

and he is like exactly 50 years older.

    thats gross i know! ha

but im in love with him from when he was younger.

    :)

  • lol! Yeah..he is such an amazing musician...I think I might even feel the same way if I was a girl :-)

His new stuff is really nice too...more on the romantic side. Check out a sample I posted on my channel :-)

  • i saw it. it was nice.

    thanks for telling me(:

  • I can always pick out hammer

  • I must say as a guitaist and a Neil Schon fan for over 30 years.. This is still rippin! well orchestrated... i grew up on this

  • I agree, Neil is not a singer though.

But he unlike alot of guitarists can change his style to fit a song like no other player I have heard.

  • Neil holds his own just fine vocally and obviously rages on the six string... a beautiful and WAY under rated album!

  • As a Neal Schon fan I say emphatically that this sucks! Big time! Meandering 80's synth jazz pop. Yuck.

  • Jan Hammer played all of the other instruments on Schon&Hammer albums. Neil Schon might have played some Bass lines.

  • the 80s was definetley the best era for music

  • hey has anyone got No more lies as a mp3 file?? Ive been lookin it for ages! Plz help me outby sending it to my email. thx

  • OMG! I Found it! got this on vinyl,Neal You are my God of Guitars!!

  • I had this album on vinyl, and lost it. Great album. This song, in particular, simply rocks out.

  • Incredible album

  • Also, Schon & Hammer is not something trivial ... this song is a treasury in that album. Did Schon recorded some bass parts too?

  • Is it called "Wasted Time?" Totally agree about that album . . . an underrated classic!

BTW - does anyone remember who played bass on that record? Colin . . . ?

  • Colin Hodgkinson

  • i bought that album in 1981 i was 12 and the first song that starts off the album does anyone know the name of that song..it kick ass..since this album is so hard to find..

  • I've been waiting for this one!!! Thank you!!!!

  • sweet , classic , memories

  • For me ,too. I listened to this on vinyl until I wore the grooves out on it..I've been listening to Neal for 28 years and counting, he is one of a kind!!

  • I don't think the audio and video are in sync.

  • Damn, when MTV meant something! Not the soap opera crap that abounds today. Great times when stellar musicians got heard!

  • Great song. This was shown on MTV back in 1981. Those were the days of great music and great videos.

  • Sensational!!!!! The best!
