  • u have a kind giving nature although manatees may come closeto boats thing people are good but its okay just remember not everybody is as kind as u are anyway thanks for the vid

  • That made me feel so warm and fuzzy! Thank you for sharing such a nice video of those sweet, gentle giants.

  • Let's not promote illegal activity. One may not provide hose water to a manatee.

  • I DO THE SAME THING, FEED THEM LETTUCE

  • Aww! Sadly it's cute! And your lucky!

  • LUCKY! hmmp!

  • When I saw the picture I thought you are going to piss on it

  • Okay...I may have clicked this because it looked like someone was peeing on the manatee.

  • Manatee: This is the life.. *he goes home*

    Manatee: Hehe... stupid humans.

  • Where do you live?? ;O I love manatees. <3<3<3

  • I'm coming for a holiday, I hope you have room on your lawn for me to pitch a tent! LOL

  • did you bring that in your own backyard O.o

  • fucking awesome

  • aww its so so sooooooo cute!

  • Yes

  • I knew this was from Florida!

  • umm sorry but its illegal to water or feed manatees

  • @Beanmaster73 Umm, sorry, but that's a douchy thing to say. Nobody would prosecute unless the manatee came to harm.

  • is ur backyard conected to the ocean?

  • So there's some plus sides to living in such a humid environment... urge to move to Florida is slightly favored a bit. Well done!

  • Your so lucky u have these types of wild animals in your backyard....

  • Ooh, I wish my backyard was a beach. I don't like speedboats because they kill the manatees. People would be less obese and kill less if they used Sailboats. :)

  • thats awsome

  • lucky

  • 0:17 it looks like you're peeing on it. lol

  • they are soooooo cute

  • The good news is, most of the Manatees usually are in shallow waters and inlets. They like the warm shallow waters, most of these waters are 4 knot zones and most people do not want to injure a Manatee. They are the elephants of the sea.

  • @jjames4700 Surely the Elephant Seal is the elephant of the sea :P

  • Manatees have hips, elephant skin, elephant toe nails, short trunks and are herbivorous. Apparently have excellent memories too and would not hurt a mouse. ;)

  • @jjames4700 They are more like really big dogs! ;P

  • Sucks that people hit them with their boats

  • @88rainbowmilkshake88

Not only there but alotta other places too. Like Florida and Africa.

  • where can I find Manatee.. I cannot wait seeing Manatee... so cute!!!

hope I can see Manatee someday.

  • @lovelylovelymin

manatees live in south america in the amazon forest

  • what river is that?

  • It is not a river, traditionally fresh water, the water is salt water and it is a bay on the Gulf of Mexico, West Coast of Florida. These manatees are a salt water dwelling mammal. They swim around where you find dolphins and are known to get hit by water craft as they float around the bays and inlets. They have many similarities to elephants in many ways with features apart from also being a large vegetarian mammal. Very peaceful creature, never seems to be in a hurry to do anything.

  • OMG i so love manatees :)

  • Manatees do not taste as good as bald eagles, to fatty..... clown!..;)

  • This is a suppositional comment. The thought of a sunny Sunday afternoon with a mother and child playing together with a water hose, playing with a manatee or two to be wrong in some way is somewhat preposterous, with all respect. sometimes we will sit down with them and give em a little bit o water for a while and a scratch on the tummy and off they go, other times well, we have shut em off when they drink to much because they can become very rowdy and start beating up dolphins ;).

  • @jjames4700

But because manatees are an endangered species, interacting with them in the wild in any way IS considered harmful under the Endangered Species Act and the Marine Mammal Protection Act. So even though this may not seem harmful, it is counted as harassing the manatee, which is illegal.

  • omg! You're serious?! lol. WOW! That's the damndest thing!

  • @hockeypunk38 you're so smart why don't you go far away from society and hunt your own food and make your own clothes and own house and everything instead of being dependent on society to provide you all those things if you hate the idea so much

  • @hockeypunk38 fag

  • @hockeypunk38 Are they feeding them? NO. Are they in ANY WAY hindering they're natural hunting and survival instincts? NO.

  • @hockeypunk38 Trololololololol...

  • lucky

  • where is that?

  • thats cool! i wish i had manatees in my backyard!
