how are the cleans and the distorted? cuz i wanna buy this guitar ,in a black flame finish, i play metal and clean stuff anywhere from metallica to zeppelin. im kinda worried that it might sound bad clean or bad distorted. im getting the duncans cuz im worried that the emgs will give the cleans a nasty cold sound.
i've heard bad stuff about them, but they sound fine to me.
just make sure you know what you are getting yourself into with the floyd rose though.....they are great but a pain in the ass at the same time. maintenance is a lot higher than a fixed bridge or even a strat style trem.
great bang for the buck guitar though. i really enjoy it alot.
cleans are nice (not cold in my opinion) and they distort nicely with my set up(s)

slevin, i love my agile dauntless. but like i said b4, make sure u know wut u r gettin yerself into with a floyd rose.it's high maintenance.
i just bought myself the "douglas shadow" from rondo music (kurt is awesome....) and it is crazy amazing for 99 bucks!!
i'm just gonna put some sperzel tuners on (the keys are the only part of the douglas that feel cheap) and away we go!!
