Thankyou very much for your wonderful informative videos. Just wondering if there is any preference between Motherwort Tea or a Tincture. And if using Motherwort tea, what is the ideal amount to infuse (at the moment im using around 2 teaspoons of dried leaf) once or twice a day.
I couldn't find 100 proof...I used 80 proof, highest I could find.... It's been less than a week so far but.... Should I let it sit for longer than 6 weeks since I only used 80 proof? Or is 80 proof just not gonna produce anything worthwhile?
Hello WWT! I was wondering how one might go about looking to become an apprentice of herbalism. I have searched in my area and have had no luck...I feel like I might be missing something? Green Blessings! )O(
There are certainly herbalists offering apprenticeships...but they may not be in your immediate area....keep looking widening your geographical range, and you will find the teacher for you.
what percent of alcohol in the vodka that we need to be looking for to make tinctures? please message me to let me know if you do not understand my question.
I've seen tincture with a glycerin base. But I think the general thought is that alcohol does a better job of extracting the properties. You can also let a dose of the alcohol tincture sit for awhile letting the alcohol evaporate before you take it.
quick question new herbalist to experienced herbalist

Could you make an infusion if you needed to use it right away? Sorry if the answer is obvious. I am very new to this.
