@NoxDeadly Ring Generalship is about being able to fight intelligently and make the opponent fight your fight and keep it at your pace which Marquez did the entire fight. The fight was fought as his pace and he was pretty much able to counter and move when he wanted to. Pacquio through more punches and landed more on average but Marquez showed more defensive skill, landed with more accuracy, and he landed the much Cleaner blows. All in all a close fight that could have went either way.

If your an attacker than your job is to cut the ring off and corner your opponent which Manny wasen't able to do, not blindly chase him around the ring and get caught with counters.

Fight was too close. I can see the case for either fighter, but Pacquiao was moving Marquez around a bit around the ring mid-fight and Pacquiao seemed to do more damage overall. Pac was the aggressor all night and judges favor that. That 116-112 scorecard was ridiculous. 115-113 would have been ok. I challenge anybody to re-watch every round closely and judge it based on what the judges go off of which is ring generalship (who is doing most of the chasing), punches thrown, and punches landed, there is no fuckin way u can give rounds 1-4, 8, 11 and 12 to marquez based on these points

@NoxDeadly Ring Generalship is about being able to fight intelligently and make the opponent fight your fight and keep it at your pace which Marquez did the entire fight. The fight was fought as his pace and he was pretty much able to counter and move when he wanted to. Pacquio through more punches and landed more on average but Marquez showed more defensive skill, landed with more accuracy, and he landed the much Cleaner blows. All in all a close fight that could have went either way.

Some fighters backup because they want you to chase them and get caught coming in which is what Marquez did. The fight was fought at a Marquez pace. Notice that Manny didn't throw 100 punches a rd in this fight. If your an attacker than your job is to cut the ring off and corner your opponent which Manny wasen't able to do, not blindly chase him around the ring and get caught with counters.

I'm extemely upset hearing anyone honestly say that they feel Pac won that fight. Watching the fight I judged it simply based on rounds. In my head, I told myself that Marquez needs to win as much rounds early because Pac will knock him down in the later rounds. Arguably, Marquez had Pac up either 5-1 or 4-2 to start it off. Fight was too close. I can see the case for either fighter, but Pacquiao was moving Marquez around a bit around the ring mid-fight and Pacquiao seemed to do more damage overall. But both fighters did a great job of weaving and bobbing. I think Pacman won by a few rounds, but I can see the case for a draw. I don't see how this is a huge robbery.

Pac was the aggressor all night and judges favor that. That 116-112 scorecard was ridiculous. 115-113 would have been ok. Pac also landed more power shots, but marquez landed the cleaner shots, there just wasn't enough. I just don't think marquez dominated pacman and to take his belt you have to dominate him decisively.
