@emimi15 When you restore ur ipod to default setting It will give a=you a message sayinh you need to manually restore it..... Instead of clicking restore u press shift + click restore and look for the .ipsw with the frimware you want and u open it and it will automaticlly start installing that frimware to ur ipod

Hold down the Home button.

Keeping home held and hold the sleep/wake button.

Keep both held in until the apple logo shows

As soon as the apple logo shows release the sleep/wake button.

Keep the HOME button held in until the iTunes logo and a picture of the USB lead is shown.

Now release the Home button and follow the instructions within iTunes
