2 things:

1) Edit your videos if you're doing something boring for a long time (like mining obsidian)

2) if you think lava will be under the block you're mining, you can pour lava on it to prevent it from being consumed by the lava. Water moves faster than the item falls (in fact, it also slows the item's falling) and will keep it safe.

RAY here is how you will never run out of water. All you need is the two buckets. Make a Hole thats 2X2 Put the one water bucket in one side of the square then the other bucket goes on the opposite side. Also the guys name you play is Steve
