  • Anger release at 3:32

  • Check out me playing this, Search "and the kitchen sink / Steven Torres"

  • did i hear 95% of these rolls being a double bounce

  • @FlytrapStudioz the solos in this book are supposed to be double bounce..... -_-

  • no flams on the 6's at 2:48?

  • Learning this for an ensemble in my college. This video should help, ha.

  • Do you sight read all this??

  • This must be before he made Phantom in 2007. Technique looks a little wack to me.

  • I don't understand the need for everyone to start judging a performance just because it happens to be posted on YouTube. I don't recall this guy asking for pointers. If you think you could do so much better, why not just post a video of yourself playing the same piece the way *you* think it should be done?

  • How did he score 2nd in the world for snare soloing at Pasic? I should compete in these events lol. He is good especially if he is sight reading. But still, he looks really tense (probably because of the sight reading though). However, if I just scored second in snare soloing at pasic, I think I agree with that one dude, and I'd want to play the best I could play just to keep my reputation in check. Good playing though.

  • @kgtwin2 /watch?v=20kFLgg3Jho

  • @IWantSky that's probably because he IS sight reading it

  • nice man. i played this last year for solo and ensemble.

  • If I recognize his face, he marched SCV. So shut the fuck up.

  • This guy is obviously amazing, I just don't understand why he would release such a poor performance of this song. He looks like he's sight reading it

  • @SasquatchGroove lol get your boner out of his ass you stalker. your supposed to use different techniques for different solo but its quite evident he displays this same technique in almost all of his videos. i never said he sucked i was giving constructive criticism. if hes so "beast" why is he changing and taking short cuts in the solo to accomodate his playing ability. if he was truly a great soloist he would play the solo as close to perfection as possible, not half ass it you ignorant bitch

  • a little to much arm, otherwise good.

  • get new heads

  • these are awkward solos... nice playing though, you got you're own thing going there

  • Hey to anyone who is criticizing, Dan Sailer isa bad ass, like Kadence said down there, so stop making yourself look stupid.

  • I played this two years ago for solo and ensemble. It's so freaking long.

  • im thinking about playing this for solo and ensemble, looks super fun lol

  • Very nice dude! Just add more emotion to it! you kinda just stand there when you pause lol. but very cool!

  • Wow your awesome even my band director has problems with this but he pretty young anyways conratulations

  • idk how you learned technique, but your right hand seems too far up.

  • @BrettGilioMusic He learned at Phantom Regiment when he made the line at 16. He just scored 2nd in the world for snare soloing at Pasic 2010.

  • Real good roll quality at 3:20

  • Great playing!!! Is this one of the harder solos from the book?

  • Where can I get the Rudimental Cookbook?

  • @Jellybean4901 amazon.com it costs like 20$

  • WOW...... i cant say anything else but WOW......

  • Very nice job on my solos...hope you had fun playing through "The Rudimental Cookbook"...be sure to check out "Just Desserts". Take care and keep drummin'...
