  • this rocks.good job.nice pedal board,mate!

  • love this pedal, though I'm considering rehousing mine in a hammond box and making the octave footswitchable

  • That is one nasty little pedal. I love it!

  • @OakPark11MileRd different circuits, this is a foxx tone machine, it supposed to sound like that. the octavio is supposed to sound cleaner

  • holy cow....480p and such horrible quality.

    Dm

  • Is there any pedal you would recommend for heavy metal ?

  • @kickapooman12 for the modern stuff try a metal zone, for older stuff have a look at the crunchbox or the barber direct drive

  • I broke mine :(

  • why do you ned so many pedals ...are you a studio musician? thanks for the review

  • @HackerGuitarist everybody needs a bunch of pedals!

  • @HackerGuitarist in the words of the Reverend Billy G; "One is too many, and 40 isn't enough"

  • sounds nice on touch me i'm sick, but then again i don't think touch me i'm sick is supposed to sound nice...

  • dj 13 , dj 15 , dj 5 , dj20 , fucking great pedals

  • I've had mine for about 8 or 9 years (I think they were just out when I got mine) and it still works perfectly. I've had to rob extra knobs off other dano's when I could find them as they pop out, but this pedal and my tuna melt tremolo have been absurdly reliable.

  • I have this pedal (along with MANY, MANY OTHER distortion & overdrive pedals)...believe it or not this pedal & the Danelectro Fabtone Metal Distortion pedal are probably in the top-4 out of the over 15 Distortion/Overdrive pedals I have...the two that rank higher are my Line 6 ToneCore Uber Distortion, & my modified Ibanez TS808 Tube Screamer w/ a Blue LED & I changed put the JRC4558 chip in so it sounds more like a vintage one; I'd rate this pedal higher then a Boss MT-2 Metal Zone

  • Demo starts at 1:07

  • hey can this pedal be set to clean in anyway?

  • "Let me stand Next to your Fire!!"

  • thanks for the mudhoney riffage!

i'm surprised by this little Dano guy. Hopefully I'll come across one for cheap some time. Thanks for the demo!!

  • nice pedals man

  • can you tell me the setting?

  • im a fan

  • I saw this in a pawn shop today for 30 euro, should i buy it?

Let me just say also, i play alot of blues, and im on a budget, so is this the right pedal for me?

  • @DaveRingle fuck no order it online for way cheaper.

  • not good at all.

  • this pedal is actually cool, but its so " fragil" it would be perfect to see this pedal in a hard case. it sound like a monster.

  • yep ,i agree with that. they should do one in a case with true bypass like the Cool Cat series. and they seem to have stopped making this too so you need to protect it :)

  • mudhoney, nice...

  • dude i love how all the danelectro pedals look like something out of a pawnshop.

  • do you like it to play hendrix?!

  • I would if I had it. I'm pretty sure Hendrix used the octave thing at least once. I'm sure he used fuzz alot though. This seems like a really sick pedal for the price.

  • hendrix- fuzz nd wah

  • check out jimi's castles in the sand lots of wah nd the solos got sum of this kinda fuzz

  • used by omar rodriguez-lopez! way cool!

  • hey, if you ran this into another fuzz or a driven amp do you reckon you could get into Crazy Horse freakout territory?

thanks for the vid, certainly very interesting... it sounds almost synth-y at the end
