  • your all crimes against the Muslims prisoner in war and Abu garib jail and in guntanomo world has seen and spitting and insulting on american mouth god will punish u 90% prisoner in guantanomo is innocent. 9/11 done by Jews and blame it on Mus so that a permanent hate between American and Mus world could be create and run their war machine by eating money from usama these criminal Zionist Jews who are controlling usa sold all usa secret and taken USA into war.god will help them

  • You freak. Stop blaming the jews for everything. Oh the jews did this! Oh the jews did that! Oh every jew is plotting the down fall of the world! Oh i had a bad day! Oh the jews did it!

    You people are pathetic.

  • Al Jazeera is a propaganda network for terrorists. In case anyone forgot.

  • Terrorists captured on the battlefield have no protection under the Geneva or Hague Conventions. They could've been executed on the battlefield.

  • I consider US soilders terrorist. Thankyou for informing me of that. I shall use that law to the fullest.

  • You don't have the balls.

  • They should have been executed?

That's what they do to their prisoners, and they saw their heads off with a dull knife.

But WTF just release them into Cuba and let the Lib's. buddy Fidel deal with them.

  • well guys dont wast your energy becouse BUSH will not lissen

  • The solution is easy. Just kill the cocksuckers and get it over with.

  • Yeah i agree when u mean americans by that. Facist pricks.

  • This video is totally bias. It regrets to inform you that these prisoners are those that where captured when their suicide vest failed to go off, where unable to runaway after firing an RPG, execute innocent people while in death squads, made bombs, planed attacks that KILLED people, decapitated hostages/civilians, executed members of the police, and other hideous crimes. All treatment of prisoners are within the guidlines of the Geneva convention.

  • and you know this because.... you were a prisoner in Guantanamo or a guard or something? and ok, from all the prisoners inside Guantanamo, i am sure there are few or many (who knows) that are indeed terrorists. What about the people that are just suspects? Or do you believe that every single prisoner in there is a terrorist? And dont you have to be in prison after going through trial or something? Please enlighten us all

  • Why is it that Al Jazeera and Amnesty International seem to know who the terrorists are and are'nt? Thats a seems strange!!

  • Isn't this prison breaking the conference of Geneva or something?

  • CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY

  • who can help ???

who can stop these continouse bad siuations ???

    who can cruch shockels ???

    Give my freedom ??

let me out the cage ??

    I am a humanbeing !

  • Terrorist in Guantanamo? OK!!! Vivat USA!!!

  • I agree with the UK. NO TORTURE!!!! This includes any instution holding detainees.

  • SHUT Guantanamo DOWN!!! ...NO JUSTICE IN THERE AMERICAZ FULL OF SHIT ND ITS GNA GO STRAIGHT TO HELL FOR EXAMPLE MOAZZAM BEGG WAS HELD FOR 3 YEARZ FOR NO APPARENT REASON... BUSH ROT IN HELL!!

  • Making the Geneva Conventions optional and failing to properly punish those responsible for war crimes will place captured American soldiers and civilians in future wars at greater risk. States that for nearly 150 years have looked to the United States as a source of inspiration for the treatment of prisoners in wartime have lost an important ally

  • You don't seem to read anything I write instead you keep reiterating your points dogmatically and now have resorted to insults, which is the first sign that someone has nothing else intelligent to say. Now, I'm done.

  • I know I said I was done, but you go above and beyond the call of idiocy. Obviously you're a narrow minded hateful little person and I'll guess the most joy you derive from life is finding ways to make America look bad in any way possible without taking the time to study the subject on a global scale to compare and contrast the situation in other countries.

  • User8881, It is because of narrow minded, bigots like you that the world is becoming Anti-American.

  • Ok, where are the world wide protests about any of those things? If the US does anything, everybody is up on their soap box. If you've read anything I've written you'd know I'm not justifying Gitmo, but pointing out the fact the relatively minor problems in the US take precedence over much more serious problems elsewhere. People revel in bashing America while pretending to care about human rights. Give me a break.

  • It is YOUR politicians that keep bashing YOUR country. It's they who lie to you, it's they who fabricate illegal wars, it's they who have your children killed. Open your eyes -if you dare.

  • Our leaders (tyrants) run a nation of escalating war and escalating violence, on others and on us, and getting much worse now. I praise these protesters for their bravery. Six years is a lot of torment haven't we had enough of it already.

If they're convicted Ron Paul will pardon them (as president). Then if we're lucky he'll end the war, and end the torture, and let a million good people out of prison, and help save America.

  • Guantanamo Bay, or Gitmo, as it is called in the USA, is hardly ever discussed in our News. Gitmo is a discrase to democracy, most Americians like myself dont even know what is going on there. We have a Government Contorled media. America is the rouge nation. God Help Us All!!!!

  • America isn't the Rogue nation.THe Neo cOns in our goverment have aid from other goverments...look at the world its changeing ..EU,African Union all over the news.those aren't "conspiracys" anymore.North american Union ,asian union? are those next to come out of the closet?

  • Holy hell! Nazi Germany? The Soviet Union? HELLOOOOOO???? Do I need to name more? I'm done with this.

  • Once again you're nitpicking in an attempt to make the US look bad. If those Monks were abused, that's wrong, but compared to other massive abuses that happen in the world, this is probably one of the least serious.

  • You seem to have missed my comment so I'll say it again here. That provisio was made by Bahrain, Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Yemen, and Yugoslavia as well. Are they all evil too or is it just the US now?

  • Also, that provisio was made by Bahrain, Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Yemen, and Yugoslavia as well.

  • Once again dodging the fact that all those countries have far worse human rights violations than Guantanamo Bay. If you feel the need to defend a cause, you might want to start with the biggest violators first. Gitmo, is after all a prison, not every day life for a whole class of people.

  • Do you see countries protesting or people?

    I see people.

  • Hmm, nobody cares about the oppression of woman in some Muslim countries, or the deplorable conditions that poor Chinese workers face, or the absolutely wretched existence that is faced by India's "Untouchables". Nope, it's Guantanimo that the world protests against because the world LOVES to point out mistakes by the USA and feel self righteous about it. What an uneducated pack of sheep you all are!

  • Shame on you for the miserably poor logic you employ! Think of this: Person A rapes his young daughter every day. The press gets ahold of this and has a heyday. He responds, "You silly press! *Person B* down the street ATE his children and you weren't nearly as upset! That's even WORSE. You are a pack of sheep!" CLEARLY, the press shouldn't harass him...

  • You misunderstand my point. These people were able to organize protests around the world, and they chose Guantanimo to protest? Come on! Of all the more worthy causes out there, a few hundred suspected terrorists held w/o charges is the worst? You're telling me that this has nothing to do with the fact that it's the US that they're protesting? What if Saudi Arabia was holding people without charges, would you feel indignant about that?

  • People LOVE to hate on America while turning a blind eye to the rest of the world, and THATS why they're sheep.

  • You are a lemming! Mr. Lemmiwinks! I'll come and visit you in one of them Haleburton concetration camps I've been hearing so much about. Check out 1984 for some revealing insight into America's(your) future.

  • Well, I see someone else who doesn't know what the previous conversation was about has decided to air his ignorance. Does anyone who watches this video know how to read or are you going to keep using my valid point as a springboard for more inane personal attacks?

  • You are so special, all knowing one! See you in the rat cage!

  • I am all knowing. PS Mr. Lemmiwinks was a gerbil, not a lemming.

  • Touche!!!

  • Also, you gave an exceeding poor example to illustrate your point. There is no comparison of Gitmo detainees to the wretched every day life of the "untouchables" in the world's largest democracy, India. Where's the outrage about for that? Oh, yeah, America isn't responsible so it doesn't matter. Hypocrite.

  • He gave an exceedingly poor example...... The democracy the U.S. is peddling is a scam and you've been scammed! Real democracy is a Western invention subverted and abused by Khazarians!!!

  • Hmmm, user8881, many people do care about the deplorable condition of women in Muslim countries, and for the deplorable conditions of poor Chinese workers. At the same time, we also care about the undergoing situation of the Guantanamo prisoners. That prison puts America closer to the Nazis, than to Washington and Lincoln. Shame on Bush and shame on all the Americans that voted for him!

  • Wow, lets see, maybe we could mention the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, or even Saudi Arabia, Iran, and China today. I guess they are/were much more concerned about human rights than the USA. Get real guy.

  • What I don't understand is, what's the point of all this... I mean is Guantanamo really worth all this fuzz? Has it really helped the United States or done the opposite?

  • Guantanamo is one of many reasons for why my country has achieved Rogue status. 'Tis a shame to be sure - hopefully we change our ways, soon.

  • My God...this is what WE used to do to protest Soviet repression.

How far my country has fallen. Thank God my grandfather - a combat veteran of WWII - is not alive to see what has become of the nation he fought for, or the ideals.

  • You DO know that these people would have no problem in doing worst to US.

  • Actually, I don't know that, and neither do you. Why? Because NONE OF THESE PEOPLE HAVE CHARGED OR TRIED WITH ANYTHING.

  • these people...those people...them. Eventually you must mention names; otherwise, you start paranoid.

  • no there are other sources of propaganda for the other position, especially fox. but you can hardly view that intro and not call it a biased report

  • I understand Quantanamo prisoner's are treated WAY better than any other prisoner's anywhere in the world. I don't agree to holding professional journalist's and feel if they check out as being decent people and are in no way connected to any terrorist organization then they should be turned loose. This is a war against jihadists not journalists.

  • The extra legal measures taken by the bush administration are certainly disturbing but on the other hand the US has not suffered a major terrorist attack since 9/11. Where is the legal and moral balance??? I don't know.

  • They US hasn't suffered anything, they shot themselevs in the foot when they committed 9/11 but blamed it on Al-CIA-Duh. These terrorists are the production of the Americans so what war are they fighting when Bin Laden is dead. Yet people believe he is still alive

  • You DO know the REAL reason for Al-Qaeda's existence, right? This whole thing stems from the relationship, good or ill, that the Americans have with the Saudis, which pissed off the son a rich man: Osama bin Laden.

  • Wrong. In his younger days he was an agent for CIA. They put him in Afghanistan and funded him along with the Taliban to fit the Russians. Americans then decided for the 'New World Order' so they had to attack Muslim countries to achieve a few of their goals through lies. Wake up!

    wakeupfromyourslumber(dot)com

  • propaganda piece

  • I hope that you point that out when ever CNN or Fox news has a story with some piece of shit from the Bush admin. talking about how it's necessary for us to hold journalists captive and those who oppose this are crazy fringe hippies. Or is it only propaganda when it's a point of view that threatens your idea of American identity?

  • I wonder what's worst: that these Islamists are getting a pass on what they did to Daniel Pearle...or that you think that Al-Jazeera is NOT biased. Face it, bro-ham, profit is king, and Al-Jazeera's audience has a particular bent that tailors the news coverage.

  • The man who is being held for killing Daniel Pearl was an ISI asset. That means he was working for the CIA. Watch my videos about Omar Saeed Sheikh. Seeking and spreading knowledge doesn't make me a terrorist. The people who wage wars of innocent populations and those who support them are terrorists.

  • Assuming I believe you, what gives his killers the right to take his life? How is killing the so-called enemies of Islam any more justifiable than American foreign policy? You see these people rightly protest Gitmo...why did the Islamists not do the same? THAT is what I have a problem with. As Ghandi once said, "An eye for an eye will make both blind". That's all I'm saying.

  • I never said his death was justifiable, I said it was on orders from the CIA. Rather than that making it OK it was meant to point out that blaming it all on "Islamists" is limited and in all honesty, stupid. I can't tell you why other people don't protest. I'd love to know that answer myself. I find Al Jazeera to be a much needed counter point to US media. That doesn't mean I agree with everything they say and do.

  • Well, I definitely will say that I do agree with you on Al-Jazeera. I'm just saying that there is no such thing as an unbias information company. We are, after all, human and prone to corruption.

  • thanks aljazeera you are the best!
