sometimes anesthesia has different reaction and some of the meds mixed with it is for the body to tense and not move in the operation table .. i think he absorb more than needed and they ae doing those exercises to help the body to get read it of it faster so when he gets out the anesthesia is gone and he wont remember he wasn't able to move

@JasonInThailand why that is? They normally are near or have a physical therapy and/or equipments in their place. During their downtimes, when they're bored or when they aren't that busy, they have quick access to weight equipments. Not only that, but they can actually do work outs with their own patients if they wanted to.
