The whole discussion of yours on so called 'particular sins' are based on relativism, feminism, and post modernism in my opinion. And these are satanism.
Also a big factor in this discussion that you failed to bring up, is the type of music your dancing too...the bible also says in James 1:14 every men is tempted, when drawn away by his own lust....dont set yaself up folks...
We are instructed to "keep away from all appearences of evil". So the question is what "good fruit" do we produce going to a club? Or even listening to the vast majority of the music being played in our own houses? I think deep down most people know it's rotten fruit. A lot of the so-called "love songs" don't describe biblical love... just lust.
Well the Jesus dancing with you was just a rhetorical question(: to help you wrap your brain around the concept of is this really something that is necessary for me to be doing! I think this was great advice! Thanks Bianca!(:
You made the statement "If Jesus was dancing with me will I dance like this with him" I doubt Jesus would be dancing to any worldly music in the first place, He might go there to preach to people but He most certainly won't be dancing to Jay-z or Justtin Timberlake or other secular singers.
Also most of the music they play in the club are sensual, why would any God fearing Christain want to dance to that? So my answer is no.
In your lukewarm viewpoint your quote of Paul's teaching was incomplete. He said, Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Phil 2:12 .
Your teaching will cause some to stumble and you will be accountable. Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such we will incur a stricter judgment. James 3:1 (NASB) I will pray for you. God bless
Paul, speaking to Christians, addresses the issue of worldly practices in Ephesians 4:17-24 God says when we give ourselves over to our sin nature, we are being deceived by our desires. Satan is a master counterfeiter, Satan presents something that appears on the surface to be attractive. The lure of clubbing is that it is very enjoyable, fun, exciting. we don't see is the consequences, Satan keeps the sensual attraction at the forefront of our minds. Sex, alcohol, drugs, all found in nightclubs
nightclubs are part of the world which is controlled by Satan. They are designed for the purpose of giving oneself over to sinful desires. Nightclubs exist primarily for two purposes: drinking alcohol and meeting members of the opposite sex, most often with sexual activity in mind. Yes, there is music and dancing, but primarily singles in particular go clubbing to drink and meet someone. Nightclubs are of the world, and while Christians are to be in the world
Ive heard of christians going to bars only to witness Jesus Christ and get to know the people there and show them the love of God. Intentions is everything. But to go there and party and drink is a no.
I love your statement and question about what are our intention of going there. It has come to my attention that the world is a broken and sinful place. We however are not as long as we hold on to God's words. Even Jesus had to go to very sinful places to cast out evil spirits etc. Therefore in conclusion, it is our mindset that determines whether the event is sinful or not. :)
Don't follow the world, don't follow your heart! ... lead your heart toJesus !!

I used to go to clubs but had to stop. Dancing with some attractive girl moving her shapely body to the music. My thoughts were far from Godly.
