hey sorry to tell you but he is not a jungle carpet he is a costal carpet. and it isn't good for the snake to be holding him for that long after he eats. i have 7 snakes i think i should know. and i dont think you could handle my 12 foot albino! you really need to do some research on snakes.
Just to point out you say ''he ate about an hour ago''. Holding a snake of any variety an hour after its fed is generally, a poor idea. Also, I very much doubt that message at the beginning ''I don't respond to hate mails so don't even bother'' will actually deter people from posting 'hate mail'. And just so you know, this isn't 'hate mail', just some advice.
I have to agree with the other posters...you were tossing him around a bit too much right after a feeding. Then again, if he's never thrown up a meal maybe he's use to that kind of handling.
you should try to be a bit more gentle whit big snakes you could pretty easily break some of its ribs, not saying that you are careless or anything but just a tip
Nothing wrong with the way you are handling this snake. Nice to see someone your age that isn't afraid of a jungle this size. A carpet this size is going to be tough to handle so I could see why people would think you are tossing it around, but Carpets are pretty active and it takes a lot to control a big one trying to move.
awesome looking carpet man. Love the black down the belly. keep up the good work and vids.
Just so everyone knows...you can hold your snake after eating depending on the snake and how big of a meal they eat and only if you know how to hold them right.I gold mine sometimes after eating and have been fir over a year with bo problem it is just recommended that you don't because you dint know if it will stress out the snake or not but like I said it's how your snake is
Cornsnake102! Nice vidoe man! I'm kinda a noob to the snake world. I own a -
Ball Python
Snow corn snake
California king snake (wont stop musking for some reason :( )
And I'm getting a rainbow boa in a month.
I want a carpet python, couple questions. How long do they get? My mom doesnt want me getting something over 5', and how thick? Like how many inches is their girth?
How much do they coast at an expo? Thanks so much dude! You rock.
@rseagles14 well, if you dont want it over 5, then you gotta go with an Irian Jaya carpet, they only get about 4 feet and inch and a half thick or soo, and im not positive depends on the morph; could cost 175 or more
@CornSnake102 For an Irian Jaya, you're talking up to 7ft buddy... I know a big breeder, and he has loads, well over the 4ft mark lol, I think his smallest mature adult is around 6ft.
Would you reccomend a jungle carpet python for a 3rd snake, i want a bigger snake, so what size cage do you keep yours in, by the way, great video, keep it up
They are very good snakes if you get them CB, but if you don't want them to get very big, stay away from coastals (A lot of stupid people don't know the difference), and they don't require very big cages, I keep my big female in a 100 gallon tank I built myself..
obviously if he is handling the snake after eating then the snake is comfortable with such, that just means its a very well tempered snake, good video. All i know is i dont think i would have the balls to hold one of mine right after feeding lol.
u shud leave ur snake to digest its food atleast 24 hrs before regular handling. plus if urs is hissing alot its probably cos ur pissing him off and not letting his food digest.lol.
Kid you know you can hurt your snake handaling it after feeding it? It can cause the snake to tress and regurgitate the food. And this can hurt him. Dumb kids.
@farcry2outlaw it is a jungle carpet python, native to the tropical north rainforests of far north queensland (aka the daintree), Australia. I happen to own a baby one of these. I happen to live in this beauty's native home :)
Also kid, you shouldn't be handling your snake after he has fed, it can stress him and also hurt him. I'm not going off, just giving advice :)

Gorgeous snake bro! I'm looking to get a jungle carpet python real soon. Out pet sore wants $500 for one. :/ you said he was a breeder? What would you sell hatchlings for?
You do a great job with snakes for someone your age. It beats spending all your time with some electronic device, like most kids your age. Keep it up!
i am about to buy a irian jaya carpet. me and my brother were looking at them at the petstore and he got bit by one haha. and about 2 weeks ago i got bit by a diomond carpet a baby like 3 month old and it only made me bleed like 4 drops they dont really have a hard bite as a baby. but i bet when i gets older it will hurt!
you shouldnt handle a snake on the day they just ate, always the day after or even two days later...so if people are giving you negative responses, you possibly are deserving it.
@Jipquel the bites dont hurt that bite just like poking ur finger with a sewing needle. I have four carpet pythons and i find the best thing to do for them is supply them with stuff to climb on, and have places to hide in the climbing areas as well as on the ground. Hello, I just want to say your snake looks so lovely and healthy and very tame, you are doing a great job with him!! I really enjoyed this video. I have had my JCP for a month now and adore him:) He is less yellow that yours but a wonderful pet:)
So let me see if I have this straight. You put a meal in the snake's belly, and then you swing him around like a lasso. You obviously don't know enough about snakes to recognize flight behavior when you see it. Grow up.
@7brandontube you obviously don't know as much about snakes as you think. Yeah he was handling it too rough after a meal but you don't have to be a dick about it. all you do is find videos with people doing something you don't agree with and whine about it. What is so messed up with your life that you give yourself the power to insult people on youtube. You need to get out of your house more often........
ur a bit rough with ur snake but it's good to see younger kids getting involved with reptiles. My advice though don't handle them after feeding for about 2 or 3 days as it isn't beneficial for digestion. Nicee snake =)
@thedirtydime ya hes eatin some pretty big rats right now we dont use a lot of variety when feeding unforuneatly :/ He just wants all the snakes to eat rats because thats all most people can generally feed them that buy snakes like that
@thedirtydime yea, i understand. when i bought mine, he wouldnt eat rats right away. so i kinda switched him to chicks and now hes somehow eating chicks and rats. so thats always good! :D
Yeah Man a very fine specimen of junlgle carpet. Hey would you reccomend keeping a JCP in a 10 gal from when its very small or just start out with a 20 gal? Thanks man
I really dont understand how you have A) so many views and B) only 8 dislikes. After a snake eats, as a snake keeper its your responsibility to leave him ALONE. Though he may not threaten to regurgitate or act aggressively, you need to understand that snakes cant speak like we can. So please, showcase your snake when he doesnt have a rat in his stomach, swing him around all you please. Nice snake.
and damn, people are so harsh huh? wonder why they cant say things nicely instead of trying to bite your head off. i think you were doing great and what had to be done to keep him under control and shit, its not like you threw him around like a fuckin lasso or purposely pick him up after every meal!
anyways, i have a quick question, do you recommend any good jungle carpet breeders? websites ect..
be careful holding a python that large around your neck. he is large enough to easily crush your throat, and pythons constrict sometimes even when they arent provoked. hold him in your arms unless theres someone to help you if he gets out of hand. absolutely beatiful snake though.
@ColdBloodedKeeper I think hes a little over 8 years old. I have a 25% diamond 75% jungle carpet (you can see in my other vids) who is almost 2 and around 5 and a half feet
due your an idiot !don't handle your snakes for at least 24 hours after feeding! its not good for digesting their food man! they can throw it up. their stomache acid is so strong it could kill him.... just sayin
dude you handle that snake fine, if it had a problem with your handlng it would probs have a snap at you. ignore the haters they are jelous of your awesome jungle ;)
its a fuken snake, let him handle it how he wants u fuking idiots. bunch of nosey cunts u are... its not like it will die if u hold it after eating. dumb shits!!!!! nice snake mate ive got a bredli. the carpets are great i think.
Hey he might be a coastal mix he has horizontal lines on his sides pretty gorgeous snake though as long as you know your animals screw what everybody else says
It is a shame that a 13 year old kid has a snake that must of us older snake enthusiast would kill for and yet he doesn't know the first thing about the Morelia species in which he is handling! Maybe one day when she strikes him in the face or she regurgitates right after she eats a rat he will learn. At least he likes snakes tho and isn't an ignorant prick that kills them. Nice snake man, just learn a little more.
you should feed hin another rat then grab him by the head and spin him around like a helicoptor. idiot. read a few care sheets before trying to care for a beautiful carpet... hope he didnt regurg on ya...
you shouldnt relly be handling the snake right after you feed it. you should give it about 24 hours. it all depends on the size of the rat and its feeding habbits.
you are being to rough with him. especially after eating. one of these days, he is going to spit up a rat on your shirt if you throw him around like that!
You're not supposed to handle for 24 hours after feeding. Read a care sheet moron.

thedirtydime 1 year ago
@thedirtydime ya hes eatin some pretty big rats right now we dont use a lot of variety when feeding unforuneatly :/ He just wants all the snakes to eat rats because thats all most people can generally feed them that buy snakes like that
CornSnake102 1 year ago
@thedirtydime yea, i understand. when i bought mine, he wouldnt eat rats right away. so i kinda switched him to chicks and now hes somehow eating chicks and rats. so thats always good! :D

@thedirtydime thats good to hear!
CornSnake102 1 year ago
Lovely snake, But you shouldnt be moving him around so rapidly or at all after eating, should give him atleast a day or so to digest.

Yeah Man a very fine specimen of junlgle carpet. Hey would you reccomend keeping a JCP in a 10 gal from when its very small or just start out with a 20 gal? Thanks man
Trazor2k0 1 year ago
@Trazor2k0 umm a 20 gallon will obviously last it longer, but if a 10 is all you have right now that will befine for a good 3-4 moths

Nice snake.

verry pretty. just be careful handling so much after feeding ;)

hello! beautiful JCP!
and damn, people are so harsh huh? wonder why they cant say things nicely instead of trying to bite your head off. i think you were doing great and what had to be done to keep him under control and shit, its not like you threw him around like a fuckin lasso or purposely pick him up after every meal!
anyways, i have a quick question, do you recommend any good jungle carpet breeders? websites ect..
been looking for one FOREVER!
ayeproll 1 year ago
how many carpets do u have?
lsazcona 1 year ago
be careful holding a python that large around your neck. he is large enough to easily crush your throat, and pythons constrict sometimes even when they arent provoked. hold him in your arms unless theres someone to help you if he gets out of hand. absolutely beatiful snake though.
beckhead25 1 year ago
@beckhead25 nahh if he squeezes to tight you just bend his tail backwards, and thank you he is gorgeous

ColdBloodedKeeper 1 year ago
@ColdBloodedKeeper I think hes a little over 8 years old. I have a 25% diamond 75% jungle carpet (you can see in my other vids) who is almost 2 and around 5 and a half feet
CornSnake102 1 year ago
Nice carpet, he seems to be in very good care. Just don't handle him after feeding regurgitation isn't good for the snake.

CornSnake102 1 year ago
Hey he might be a coastal mix he has horizontal lines on his sides pretty gorgeous snake though as long as you know your animals screw what everybody else says
PrestigeReptiles1 1 year ago
"they hiss for no reason"..... or maybe its because your throwing him around after he just ate and he is pissed as hell.
dchstrack 1 year ago
It is a shame that a 13 year old kid has a snake that must of us older snake enthusiast would kill for and yet he doesn't know the first thing about the Morelia species in which he is handling! Maybe one day when she strikes him in the face or she regurgitates right after she eats a rat he will learn. At least he likes snakes tho and isn't an ignorant prick that kills them. Nice snake man, just learn a little more.
88Tdwp 1 year ago
you should feed hin another rat then grab him by the head and spin him around like a helicoptor. idiot. read a few care sheets before trying to care for a beautiful carpet... hope he didnt regurg on ya...

Do u know how to hold snakes properly?
boombox15talay 1 year ago
hey mate,
you shouldnt relly be handling the snake right after you feed it. you should give it about 24 hours. it all depends on the size of the rat and its feeding habbits.
:) thanks
dfddff34567890 1 year ago
you are being to rough with him. especially after eating. one of these days, he is going to spit up a rat on your shirt if you throw him around like that!
