I love that bass. SX rocks. How has it held up for you?

Well only good thing I can really say about it, is that it keeps its intonation pretty well. (Despite the intonation on the G string being screwed up since i got it)

It stays in tune.

Other than that..

buzzy, few dead frets... I definitely need an upgrade. =p

Have you ever had it professionally set up? Most of the time a pro set up takes care of the intonation and all that crap.

that was really good i always fuck up on my timing when i play. I play with a little less tone and try to adjust the sound to be a bit less twangy but thats just me.

thanks for your comment. The reason it's as "twangy" as it is, is because I'm playing on a 20 watt practice GUITAR amp, rather than my peavy 75.

It was about 1 or 2 am so i was playing lightly as to not wake anyone.

Not bad imo, you seem to have the bassline down pretty well. A decent amp and probably a little tweaking on the action of the bass would make it sound 10X better. But all things considered sounded pretty tight.

That and today is the first time I've REALLY played a song with my fingers rather than a pick in a long time.
