Dez Bryant is better in jumpball situations and in traffic than Benn, but he got nothing on Benn on short-yardage downs (or 3rd and short) and after the catch. Benn is physical/tough enough to keep you from getting in front of him to make a pick or bat the ball down. His build can put a hurting on you and leave you looking like you ain't no business being out on the field. He knows this; that's why he goes directly at a corner once he makes the grab.
