  • why doesnt anyone do the grooove!? i know only the groove and the rest of the song is a mystery to me, bahhh... so frustraiting

  • I dunno, the whole break-it-down is my favorite part of the song even if it isn't the most demanding.

  • really nice. i am working hard on this song at the moment and occasionally going to this version when i cant hear whats going on in the candyrat one=P

i think you'r missing 3 notes in the transition between part one and two

not sure if this is intentional or not..just thought i should say=)

  • very well done

    100 a

    XD

  • roughly from 32-35 seconds how do you do that harmonic "thing" i have been trying to figure that part out for weeks now and no luck. any tips?

  • There triplets if im not mistaken!

  • What you do is create the harmonic on the 12th fret 3rd String (regarding capo) with the right hand, then play 2nd fred first string followed by a pull off to open. Then same thing but harmonic on Fourth string followed by 3rd fret, second string, - pull off to open

  • awesome!

  • your covers are amzing.

  • good!!!!!!!!!!!

  • u got skills man congrats :)

  • wow! work a bit more one part three... but- two thubs up!

  • i think this is one of the best covers you have on youtube. i like this cover more than the Drac & Friends cover.

  • I also like this better than D & F.

    Antoine Dufour is incredible, period!

    Take care

    welter

  • Haha, nice improvisation on the third part :D

    Great Cover nonetheless.

What's the tuning on this one, mate?

  • Standard tuning mate with drop D, capo on 2nd fret across 5 strings leaving drop D open.

Excellent cover this, i'm gonna try. Bar rpoland, and antione dufour this is the best channel on youtube!! luv it! - UK

  • que diferenca de qualidade em ta lindo mesmo

  • awesome cover !

  • Great!

  • perfect! how the hell do you do that bit around 1.34??

  • basically normal quick hamers and pulls, only the firts one is a harmonic played on 12 with the right hand

  • i like the tones of takamine guitars tbh

  • Oh my god, I love it.. Especially the part after 2:30, it's a part that I'm going to start learning myself :)

  • Great job dude! I'm a huge Dufour fan, saw him live with Andy Mckee, Trace Bundy and Erik Turnbull. This is a great cover man, with my back turned I would think it was Antoine. That you could even come close is fantastic.

  • Thank you kindly brother!

I'd love to see them live someday...

    Take care

    Welter

  • great playing, great great playing! beautiful tone. It is always sweet to come out and find someone who plays like you, sir. I appreciate your emotivity. One of the few covers on youtube that are real music and not a sterile emulation. congratulations, again

  • Thank you so much!

  • pretty good!

  • Another belter (goodun) from Welter.Nicely done.

I particularly like your version of Glimmer of Hope.

Can't quite get to the harmonics in time but still practicing.Keep it up.

  • Hi!

    very good cover!

But why don't you play the slapped harmonics part??

Do you also think the transcriptions are a bit wrong with this part??

    neno

  • Thank you!

I started digging into AD stuff cause of his "unique fingerstyle touch" I dont much like the slapping sound on acoustic guitars! I think they sound better on Elec. Bass than anything. Now about the tabs, I wouldn't know that! First I need to find a "tabs for dummies book" b4 I get in to that! I honestly dont know anything about tabs! I learn these songs by watching AD videos/by ear. I've been playing by ear from the start, so Im more confortable learning that way. Take care!

    Welter

  • I completely agree on the slapping part. I love this song, but I guess when it gets to that part, it makes me wonder where it came from.

    Nice work pal.

  • wow, this is really good.

  • Very beautiful!

  • great
