I've grown up going to the Rose Bowl for USC and UCLA football games, and I went to the concert. The thing about the Rose Bowl is the way to stadium is built the sound leaves the stadium...the sound does not get trapped, but it still gets loud with 90,000 + and it was rocking pretty good at the concert. The L.A. Coliseum is the same way, sound goes out...because of the open end of the stadium. This was a great concert! Can't wait to see them at the Big A!

Seriously...you guys with the crowd sucks comments need to realize this is an audio edit. I was there...the crowd was insane. It was broadcast live and the crowd audio is not used or else you wouldn't be able to hear the band. YES, the crowd was loud. It was awesome.

I have a strong feeling this won't be the DVD, because the crowd while good wasn't great. They have always filmed with two shows. I thought it would have been Toronto, this time, but I am hedging my bets on Montreal; since the band is spending 3 million dollars to rejuvenate the Montreal Hippodrome, and there are two shows there. Other stops to watch for a DVD from would be Portugal, Athens, Moscow.

I disagree. I believe that this will be released on DVD, but you're right on a second cocert being filmed, but for a second DVD, some point after Songs of Ascent.

I have a suspicion that the NZ show in Wellington (being negotiated) may be filmed because:

1. The stadium is perfect for this stage, being a perfect circle shape

2. U2 usually go to Auckland, not Wellington, so this stadium has been chosen for a reason

3. U2 usually play songs in NZ not usually played.

I was there and the crowd was the loudest I've ever heard, these recordings don't capture the audience sound very well, but hopefully if they put a live dvd out of this show they'll do some post work on the audience audio

I agree. I was there. I remember thinking that there were times that the crowd was singing so loud that you couldn't hear Bono. It was amazing bonding with 97,000 people - all with music. I agree I hope they add the audience audio. It added so much to the experience. My only guess why they didn't do it here, was because it was live and they didn't have time to mix it in.

Many things went wrong that concert.. and in the beginning of this song.. the lights in the "space shuttle" came too late. Haha the look on bono's face.: Where are the lights.. Stil was amazing to see this live at 4 o'clock in the morning:P
