The tpb reprint of this series has been out a little over a month now,

I think there were only six issues of it

so you might want to pick up the graphic novel reprint.

Sorry TiberiusIRE but I've read the Baron and Dixon back issues and I have to take Ennis's Punisher stories over those from the 80s and 90s,

so we'll have to agree to disagree.

The best versions of The Punisher are the Mike Baron one from late 80's and Chuck Dixon from early 90's.

Both writers were excellent!

Garth Ennis finishes third. If you disagree go back and read back issues.

Yes I hate the savage demon. I would rather see him thrown in a cage with a tiger, or bleeding then thrown in a shark tank. Or being smashed in the back of the garbage truck. He's putting the garbage in the garbage truck, and taking out the garbage.

Also like to see him take on Colombian Drug Lords in Colombia. He would make them look like no talent incompotent chumps. Add in taking down Raul Castro. Raul could have a large knife and he would still lose.

I think Punisher needs to be shown taking down Ted Bundy, or a Ted Bundy type killer. The guy is self assured but when he comes across the Savage Punisher he would be wetting his pants because he's not much different than a coward womanbeater that attacks women when they aren't expecting it. Take that away they are incapable of winning in a straight fight. Punisher would savage him, and make look uglier than Jigsaw.

Honestly I hated the Warzone movie with a Passion. But the greatest Punisher stories are the Garth Ennis ones. Especially Punisher: Born.

Marvel Knights exist in the regular Marvel Universe, the "Marvel Knights" are the superheros who still fight street level bad guys. The MAX universe is different in that no one has super powers. Lots of the marvel characters still exist they are just normal people. For example Wolverine is just a guy with some knives.
