  • Face mask was after the ball came out

  • nice facemask call refs.cost the packers a chance at back to back titles

  • I was at this game in the second row right in front behind the endzone. Still best game I have ever been to in my life. With the cards going way ahead in the 1st half then to have Rodgers tear up the Cardinals defense to go into over time. History was made and I'm glad I got to see it 1st hand.

  • Best playoff game ever.

  • @GarethJen1 what? when did this turn into a gramer fight.

  • Wow the commentors suck -_____-

  • thats as bad as you'll ever see Rodgers. he looked so hesitant. well never anymore. hes been praised like a god now.

  • It's actually an Interception, due to the tuck rule.

  • Bottom line is without crying over meaningless bullshit....it was an awesome game by 2 high powered offenses (and tired defenses) and it ended in overtime. Period.

  • And the award for most enthusiastic commentator goes to.... JOE BUCK. they should've had the guy who was commentating the broncos and Bengals game where Brandon stokley got the game winning TD pass.

  • @Isiah6696 that would be Gus Jiohnson whofortunatly works for FOX now. he was thie only good commentator CBS had after Madden & Summerall left.

  • and the Packers have more Super Bowls since this game. Packers 1, Cardinals 0

  • As a Cardinal fan in Wisconsin, this was the greatest moment of my life.

  • facemask, on the defense, 15 yard penalty, automatic first down.

  • i love the cards they got heap, colledge[ a pro bowl OL], and kolb, which i think he is going to be great i expect them to go at least to a wild card

  • Hopefully they can do something with Kolb....lol

  • Thanks for making that play sound as boring as a 1 yard gain on a fullback dive Mr. Buck.

  • I LOVE THE CARDS!!!!!!

  • facemask. cardinals suck. all they had is warner and fitz

  • @earthpart3 Your so ignorant facemask happened after the fumble and anyhow this was so long ago and you are still being a little crying bitch?

  • @JDGaming21 Looks like it's pretty much at the same time. Internet tuffy LOL, fucking pussy.

  • @earthpart3 learn the rules of the game before spouting off. His hand hit the ball 1st then the facemask so its incidental contact.

  • joe buck is fucking gay get him out of fox now

  • Joe Buck is boring as fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • and to any of those who thought it was a facemask, ball was out before he got finger to the facemask. Clean play cards win

  • This just makes me more positive that the Cardinals were cheated out of Super Bowl XLIII

  • joe buck blows

  • I like watching this. but c'mon he seriously didn't need to grab the facemask. the ball was out and Rodgers was going down and Dansby would've scored anyway. The facemask grabbing just gives the Packers a lame excuse to why they lost.

  • The most blatant face-mask non-call I have ever seen. I am not a Packers fan, I'm a Raiders fan (used to controversial calls). Not only is TOUCHING the qb in the head illegal, this dude grabbed the facemask and NEVER let it go all the way to the ground. Ridiculous that the refs didn't call anything.

  • Well dude..I'm not a fan of both teams, but the grabbing wasn't on purpose. He knocked the ball out of Rodgers hand and the hand was slided on. And the fumble was already done. So if the refs were calling the facemask, Cardinals would have the ball on Packers' 30 or wherever they were before. And a FG gives the Cards their win

  • @ForeverARedskin21 a facemask being intentional or not is irrelevant. you are not allowed to grab a facemask and pull it. imagine a corner "accidentally" trips a receiver when the ball is in the air. sorry bud, its pass interference. same here. as you can tell by my youtube name I am a Raiders fan so im not a packers homeboy. also, even if it is done after the fumble, a personal foul during the play negates it. has happened many times, an interception called back due to roughing the passer

  • @raiderrocker18 facemask happened after the ball was out and even if it was called it woulda been assessed on the kickoff which their wouldnt be 1

  • @rob3132 rule check buddy. if a facemask happened during the tackle of a qb, it would reverse the fumble. it happened in a raiders game this season, i believe coming against the jaguars. they knocked it out of campbells hand, but got a roughing the passer penalty (after the ball came loose). possession stayed with oakland

  • Lucky the ball didn't hit the ground. Because that was a Tuck Rule play right there.

  • God Joe buck loves the slackers it's so fucking annoying

  • JOE DICKHEAD HAS NO FUCKIN EXCITEMENT WHATSO EVER

  • @jcarelli2057 Joe Buck sometimes gets excited but at random moments.. on a play you would think he gets excited he's as boring as hell.. then later during any normal pass all of a sudden he's "over the MIDDLE! OMFG!"

    wtf

  • WE WON

  • when will Rodgers learn......his pride still rules his heart......these are humility lessons for him.......hell learn...in time.

  • This play makes me so happy.

  • @recardwizard this dirty play makes u happy?

  • @InZane632 - learn the rules. a hand to the face is irrelevant once the ball is already out, and even if the ball had not been out, it was the lesser facemask which used to be a 5-yard penalty and now is not even a foul. Adams would have had to drag Rodgers down by the facemask for it to be a foul (15-yard). So this NICE DEFENSIVE PLAY makes me happy, yes.

  • @recardwizard Except that any facemask is now a 15-yard penalty...

  • @RJTheDestroyer21 - that is incorrect, learn the rules before you expound. what used to be a lesser facemask is now no foul.

  • @recardwizard Technically, you are correct, but pretty much any facemask that was a 5-yard penalty before is now a 15-yard one (pretty much anytime you grab the facemask, it will get pulled, twisted, or turned). You can't tell me Adams' finger didn't "pull" Rodgers' facemask downward at all. Yes, the ball was out already, so it doesn't even matter, but I believe it would be a penalty if the ball was not out prior to the pulling of the facemask.

  • i wish the cardinals didnt suck this year =/

  • I'm glad the Cards won this one because from the look of it they won't be in the playoffs again for a loooong time.

  • I live in Wisconsin and yes, I do hate the packers. It's funny how here in milwaukee everyone was talking shit about favre and how he sucks cause they said rodgers was never gonna fuck up a playoff game so bad that they lose like favre did. But when this happened, It was one of the greatest times of my life. Oh and one more thing, the facemask took place after the ball was loose. So to all packer fans I say FUCK YOU, your qb is overated and your management sucks ass. thanks karlos dansby.

  • @OneManWolfPack44 Haha. Rodgers just led the Packers to the Super Bowl. But i guess you think he sucks. And the management knew they didnt need favre because they had an up and coming star who was going to be just as good as favre if not better

  • @constantdewdrinker88 I actually became a packers fan after I made that comment. lol

  • @OneManWolfPack44 So a probowl quarterback that just led an injury filled team to the superbowl AND was the Superbowl MVP is overrated? and our management sucks because they picked up players no one thought was any good and made them into champions? hmm ya might want to check your logic there buddy, also i'm a Green bay fan and i love Brett Farve (Vikings, Jets AND Packers) so fuck whatever team you like and go look up the superbowl 45 champs why doncha?

  • @DaBlackGoku17 I actually like the packers, I just made that comment to get people to show their green bay passion. lol

  • I am in no way still complaining about this game. In fact, I moved on from it but watching this tape again, they actually missed two penalties on this play. One was of course the facemask and second Dansby took off his helmet while celebrating after the play. Removing your helmet after the play has been outlawed by the NFL, as far as I know, since Favre did it in the Super Bowl a while back.

But nothing said now will change the outcome of the game.

  • @huss171 Even if it was called it was after the play td would have stood

  • defenses win games

  • FACEMASK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • FACEMASK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @StickySmurff22 WAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

  • that was a FACEMASK

  • If our defense would've shown up we'd have won this game for sure but oh well I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

  • Rodgers needs to learn better punting skills in the preaseason.

  • THAT WAS DAMN FACEMASK!

  • @southside4life88 The ball was already out before the facemask. It's just karma for getting rid of the greatest of all time.

  • When this happened I was like "F*CK YES!!!!!! GO VIKINGS!!!!!!"

  • rodgers interception on his first pass and last pass

  • jeez the announcer must have been either a packers fan or on his period, he sounded pissed.

  • Lets say it was a facemask penalty. The penalty happened after possession changed. Therefore, if it was called, the Arizona Cardinals would have the ball at the Packers 32 yard line. And the way the game was going, the Cardinals would have won from that situation. Stop being idiots and just pay attention.

  • it wasnt a facemask, the ball wasn't in his hands anymore before his hand got to his face.

  • It was a facemask

  • this was my favorite play of the season!!

  • HAHAHAHAHA at the captions

  • Adams hit the ball first. And, during the motion, he grazes the facemask. Ithink that's why the refs let it go.

  • @MCWAY1 Someone understands! Thats why they didn't call the facemask.

  • DUSTYGRADY-You have no idea what your saying Pussy!!!

  • @XxPACKER80Xx

Here are th facts. The Cardinals absolutely DOMINATED this game. As usual, they somehow let the lesser team miraculously back into the game for no reason at all. There is no way the Packers should've ever been even close to competing in this one. We are the better team and, had the Packers won, it would've been an upset for the ages. Thankfully, the right thing happened.

  • @vvinvasion are you kidding me, the packers were way better

  • @vvinvasion are you kidding me, the packers were way better they were in a way better division

  • @taylor1hp the Cardinals are a badass aerial assualt squadron and chalk up automatic wins every time they see an NFC North team on their schedule. Packers and Vikings are average, Bears and Lions are piss poor.

  • @vvinvasion That was a nice automatic win against the Vikes a couple weeks ago.

  • @vvinvasion Saying the cardinals are the better team is an opinion not a fact. The fact that you say that if the packers won it would be an upset for the ages is your opinion. You say you dominated this game is your opinion. There are absolutely no facts in that statement. So saying here are the facts makes you seem stupid.

  • @vvinvasion Packers beating the Cardinals would hardly be an upset for the ages.

  • @vvinvasion DOMINATED? The Packers had more first downs, ran 10 more plays, trailed in yards by less than 40, trailed in TOP by about a minute, and the game went to overtime. I don't care how much the Cardinals were up by in the 1st half, that is by no means domination.

Better team? Upset for the ages? I don't care if you sat Warner, the Packers still demolished the Cardinals the week prior, and had a better record in a significantly better division. What a joke.

  • @DeepDishPeteza the joke is how Aaron Rodgers still hasn't won a playoff game

  • @RodgersCromartie the joke is how he has only been in 1. he will now been in his third tho

  • @DeepDishPeteza I smell bull-shit

  • @vvinvasion lol hows the cards this year lol, cheesehead for life

  • @YoungWicked303 packers suck

  • @nemisis254 no they dont the cardinals suck

  • @YoungWicked303 more like bitchass for life....Go Bears!

  • @vvinvasion cardinals suck

  • @vvinvasion i didnt know allowing 45 points was domination... maybe you are thinking of basketball?

  • @vvinvasion

Oh hai, we are the packers superbah bowelz champs nao kthxbai

  • @vvinvasion Cardinals can have this game. Packers are happy with the superbowl.

  • @vvinvasion amen that is a perfect description

  • @vvinvasion lol, the "lesser" team. talk about deluded.

  • LOL, yeah....but you got your "facts" wrong.

  • I was pulling for the Cardinals as much as anyone (believe me) but, no...they were not the better team. Not by any stretch of your imagination. Shit can happen to any team on any given week. And this week the Packers played a very lackluster game, which is why the Cardinals were lucky to be anywhere near them at the end.

  • @vvinvasion upset for ages, the packers are way better than the cardinals they did not let the packers score they could not stop them from scoring, and the cardinals did not dominate, the game was close as heck , the packers should have won but the refs are blind, adams had his facemask

  • @8ball337 Umm, the ball was loose before the hand got caught on rogers facemask, so even if they did call it a facemask, it would still be cards ball = ftw

  • @Gaia029 yes but this is the packers we are talking about here there defence would have came though to stop the cardinals, and ur kicker would have missed the field goal, come on now no offence but ur kicker is just awful

  • @8ball337 You're correct.... Neil Rackers cocked and sucked badly LOL =)

  • @8ball337 lol... 45 pts, idont think the defense would've stopped shit

  • @alco19357 yeah but the pack scored 45 too, the cardinals could not stop the pack

  • Karlos, welcome to Miami!

  • Great non call. It's great to see that the Refs didn't let the Packers weasel out of this one on such a cheap penalty call. Let the players decide the game for a change. Rodgers had no one but himself to blame for carelessly coughing up the football in such a critical situation. The choke miser. It looks like he has a little bit of Brett Favre in him after all.

  • wtf? the facemask didnt cause the fumble dumbshit. adams' hand hit it out

  • nope no more 5 yard penalty anymore, and the helmet wasn't turning to be called a 15 yarder. Good non call.

  • Comment removed

  • @dustygrady Yeah he choked real good this year......

  • listen a face mask is a face mask regardless packers ball 15 yards up then greg jennings would have caught the game winning touchdown an then we would have beaten the saints an then another shot at the minnesota vickings but no the cardinals had to cheat

  • no we still would have had the ball the facemask was after the fumble

  • im a fan of the packers and even though they lost you have to admit they made the greatist comeback ive ever seen. regardless of if it was a facemast or not, both the cardinals AND the packers played one hell of a game with all these records broken.

  • Only the 4th fumble return for a touchdown in nfl history. 1st in postseason.

  • You mean in OT? Cuz thats happened a thousand times lol

  • the cards got lucky the packers have a way better overall team but shit happens but be prepared cuz we gonna take it next year, the packers that is

  • penalties win games!!! lets go CARDS!!!

  • cards won because they played better

    GO CARDS!!!!

  • look closer it was a facemask the ref didnt see it

  • GAY ASS PACKERS!

  • play looks legite...rodgers fumbled before the facemask...so it didn't contribute to the fumble...good no call!

  • I wouldn't be surprised if the Cardinals made it to the Super Bowl again this year.

  • does this look like the tuck rule to anyone?

  • Beside that the Cards can't help that Rodgers face was on the other side of the ball.

  • Awesome ball was out before face mask!

    SWEEEEEEEEET

  • @70danman Actually was incidental contact to the mask and not a facemask =)

  • @70danman ummmm....Doesnt matter that the ball was out. It was still hands to the face, which is a penalty which would have negated the touchdown. One of the worse missed calls ever. Doesnt matter anyway, the cards are one of the worse teams in the NFL this year and the packers should make the playoffs. Cards suck period.

  • @70danman facemask stopping rodgers from recovering the fumble hmmmm

  • look, even if it was a facemask personal foul, since that foul didn't attribute to the turnover, the officials would not have reversed it and it still would have been cardinals ball, and even with a 15 yard personal foul penalty they still would have been in field goal range, ergo no matter how you look at it (foul or no foul, arm going forward or not) that play would have still won it for the cardinals.

  • oh ok nevermind i didnt see the second angle that was a facemask for sure

  • well its a bad angle so you can't tell for sure but i don't think he touched his facemask at all it looked to me like he hit the ball and the ball bounced off the facemask causing rogers head to move back

  • Okay, hopefully I can clear this up. First of all, it's still a facemask, even if it's after the ball is out. However, the referee's eyes, as is natural and as is his first duty once the ball is out, were on the football. He was no longer looking at the quarterback as it was no longer the most important thing to follow for him. Secondly, the facemask had no effect on the play, the strip was caused by the impact of the hit. Adams doesn't jerk or yank on the facemask, it really made no difference.

  • @dwilliams02 perfect explanation... :)

  • I understand but the facemask occurred before he dropped the ball so it did impact Rodgers dropping the ball no matter how big the hit was...the refs missed the call no doubt

  • @cococrisp20 god damn how many times do i have to say this.....THE NO CALL IS THE RITE CALL CAUSE MICHAEL ADAMS DIDN'T JERK OR TWIST AARON RODGERS FACE MASK!!!!

  • true and the facemask did not affect the fumble, as rodgers fumbled before the facemask occured, so even if it was called, it would be accessed after the play with cards possesion.

  • the facemask clearly was pulled after, u must be blind if u didnt notice that

  • still shouldve been a personal foul and the cardinals ball not a immediate TD

  • The refs missed the call, yes. And by rule, even though Adams didn't jerk or twist the facemask, it would have still been at least a 5 yard facemask, although that doesn't result in an automatic first down, it would be a repeat third down. But you're wrong about one thing. The facemask clearly occurred after he dropped the ball. Watch Adams' right hand closely at 1:20. The right hand knocks the ball out ON THE WAY to Rodgers' facemask. Still, the refs did miss it, but understandably so.

  • i thought the 5-yard facemask was done away w/ isn't it automatically 15 yds no matter what you do to it?

  • @Disneydanny - Yes and no. Contact that would have caused the old 5-yard penalty is now NO FOUL. Contact that would have caused the old 15-yard penalty still earns a PF and automatic 1st down etc. In slow motion, this play looks like it's the hard foul, but it's really not... in real time you can see that the facemask contact was fairly unremarkable.

  • facemask happened AFTER the fumble.. regardless it was a facemask, but the cardinals would have won it anyway.

  • It looks like the ball is out at the same time as he grabs the facemask. I would still think the refs should review this play.

If this is legal, the rules should be changed. You should not get an advantage by doing something dangerous.

  • Yep. I'm not a fan of either team but that was a facemask.

  • No, no, that was NOT a facemask penalty. Taichiagumon is correct. The fumble had already occurred. (Didn't you notice that the Packers never complained at all? You think a team is going to lose in overtime when a penalty should be called and wouldn't complain? The reply refers would've looked had it been close. But it wasn't close.)

  • im a cowboys fan and that was NOT EVEN CLOSE TO A FACEMASK, the ball was out and there was no yanking of the mask at all, once the ball is out the qb is like any other player

  • Thank you. The picture shows it was a finger on his facemask. pussy ass packers fans mad cuz our offense destroyed their defense all night long. GO CARDS NEXT STOP NEW ORLEANS.

  • @nptak

You realize the score was 45 -45 going into an overtime where the refs didn't call anything on the Cards...Both respective offenses tore up the defenses...

  • @taichiagumon He understands too. He gets it! It was not a facemask!

  • @taichiagumon He understands too. He gets it! It was not a facemask!

  • @taichiagumon He understands too. He gets it! It was not a facemask!

  • oh my. That was a facemask. I hate the fucking packers with a passion but that was a facemask that should have been called. Lazy officiating as usual.

  • I'm not a fan of Cardinals or Packers, but thats clearly a facemask! Very entertaining game though.
