  • hey ya my delivery was partially damaged i would like a refund...

  • Guess this was a "Short Haul" run....

  • I love the speed up after the impact....its like - "if I drive away fast enough, this never happened".

  • The Truck Take Off

  • good call by the minivan!!!

  • Lol he just took off when he realized wht happend xD

  • It's almost Hypnotic

  • People just like to risk their lives

  • OH no there goes the wheat....

  • "I like trains"

  • So thats how the make Shredded Wheat!

  • op, must'a hit a bump

  • Good thing that wasn't a gasoline or propane tanker

  • I guess passing an intelligence test is not required to get a truck-driving license, eh?

  • cool....truck driver didn't even act like he realized his trailer was gone....

  • The train didn't even try to swerve!

  • good reflexes for the minivan

  • You could see the black smoke when he started accelerating. Of course with a semi, you don't notice the acceleration.

  • I wonder when the truck driver noticed that the back half of his truck was gone?

  • 0:15 I like trains.

  • PWNED

  • No matter if the lights were flashing and gates down. People are stupid and run the gates all the time. The train has the right away people. 9 times out if 10 it's not the train crews fault it the idiot you got killed.

  • Thumbs up if you spent the first half of the video trying to guess where the wreck was going to happen

  • imagine the look on the truckers face at the next weigh in station.

  • @snoozebutton57 or the warning bar malfunctioned and he didn't see it coming scholar boy

  • @warrentowe He didn't see it coming? Then why did the van stop at 0:07?What did it see?Working signals!!!

  • @gebass6 so you're telling me the semi just drove through the arm that comes down to warn

  • @warrentowe There may not be gate arms, but there is a flashing signal. The van apparently saw the flashing lights early enough to stop.So why didn't the truck stop?Because he wanted to beat the train!

  • Lol, three hours late *driver looks back of semi,"WHAT THE FUCK?!!!"

  • @snoozebutton57

If you throw out schedules then nothing would ever get anywhere on time, and the world economy would collapse, I think you should be thrown out

  • Truck drivers have a schedule to meet, or this type accident would have never happened. The solution is to abolish all schedules so that people become more vital than things. I am a scholar of such things, but my findings have been ignored consistently for over 30 years.

  • @SnoozeButton57 You're almost as smart as the dumbass that was driving the truck.

  • And the truck just drives away. I'm just haulin som corn here, partner. I should really get a new hobby.

  • this is probably what happens when egotistical truckers met big arse, fuck off rail freighters.

  • @cyberdogk9au Or it's what happens when the truck can't slow down fast enough.

  • dumbass

  • there must be alot of Dumb truck drivers around ...

  • Did you see the semi start haulin ass after it lost all that weight? xD

  • i like how the driver in the red truck just keeps on going

  • that mini van was like F that

  • LoL...truck kept on going like nothing happened...train cut the trailer in half like a knife.

  • Truck driver is like, "Wow! My load got a lot lighter" as he speeds away! :D

  • hahahaha.... the truck kept driving.

  • the drivers crazy

  • @jeffs1000 Lol. Actually I think thats my teachers son! I dont know if its just a coincidence, but our teacher told us that a relative (his son I think) was learning to drive a train. The semi was crossing really slow and the engineer told him to slam on the brakes. He still couldnt stop and took out the rear end of the truck. Lol. Looks exactly like this video.

  • bahahaha truck speeds off with only half a tray

  • fuck

  • Jeez, I wonder why my truck full of wheaties feels so light all of a sudden...

  • LMAO .Afterthe truck got hit,he just keeps going, almost looked as if he sped up,dragging that half trailer around thinking to himself,

    'hopefully,noone will notice".

  • the truck driver got luckly, he/she will not do that again!

  • dude..... what the fuck... this is my town.

    SWEEEEEEET

  • That trucker just kept on truckin'

  • thats not a train wreck... i dont see train cars all over the floor

  • @TEMPLE7D

    The floor

  • @CIC03303 yeah!.. the floor as in ground, dirt, asphalt, tar, cement, sand ... or that beige stuff you see on the floor.. or shoud i say ground

  • @TEMPLE7D Good point... Its more of a truck-wreck.

  • I love how the truck driver floors it at the end

  • lol the truck kept driving

  • Won't have to worry about being overweight at the next inspection station!

  • Lmao GTA style get away at 0:20

  • o the truck driver was so lucky

  • lucky it was just grain in that trailer

  • would of been better with an explosion but nice

  • the suv s driver was pretty quick.. after the truck got hit, he moved out of the wreck.. most people would just stare

  • You signed on YouTube to announce that you are fake and gay? Hmmm. OK.

    The video isn't...by the way.

  • notice how the front part of the truck doesn't even move after it got crushed by a train o.o'

  • where was this?

  • i bet that trucker shit himself

  • @The4LA2Baker0 I bhet the trucker's boss shit him.

  • this isnt a train wreck, this is a train running thru a truck... not nearly as cool as the name suggests. fail clip

  • lol it keeps going!

    Probably drunk...

  • @WindowsAndMacintosh

    lol preobaly and on drugs

  • I love how the minivan starts backing away when he sees the wreck coming. Good thinking!!

  • @Syclone0044 Yeah. Someone was paying attention....

  • @Syclone0044 Damn right. I found it perty amusing.

  • cars never beat trains! It's happened in my town before!

  • I love how when the truck driver kept driving even though his truck got owned.

    RIP lil' truck :'(

  • yeehaw grain for everyone

  • not blaming the train, but train was going way to fast for an active area like that.

  • It was?

    Really?

Are you a judge of train speed through industrial areas?

The driver should have stopped and waited. Had he done so and followed the rules he would not have damaged his truck, the lading or the locomotive.

  • No shit, you train speed judger!

  • thru like nothin'

  • bet the truck driver had shit a few bricks. he even stomped on the gas

  • LOL

  • well i'm glad to see you are so refined in your experience. Tell me, if your so intelligent, how come you don't know that the saying is "couldn't care less" instead of "could care less". Because, proclaiming you "could care less" means, by definition, that you care a cetain amount and that you could indeed care less than you do. Someone who "couldn't care less" already cares nothing, and could not care less. Words mean something, Charlie, hang up the keyboard for our children's sake.

  • Nobody likes a smart-ass, pale.

  • While the driver of the truck was negligent, it is equally irresponsible for the state controller of crossings and the town to let the trains speed through urban areas at what looks like interstate speeds.

  • Train was doing about 35 mph in an industrial warehouse area on the outskirts of town.

What is a "state controller of crossings" btw. That's a new one on me.

  • 35 my ass, the state controller of the crossings=commissioner of state railroads.

It's obviously dangerous, why no gates???

  • Why no gates? Ask the state controller of crossings. Maybe whoever that is will tell you.

What is the commissioner of state railroads? LOL.

Keep trying man, you'll get it.

  • I guess proving people wrong gives you a real Hard On!!!!!! OMG ANOTHER INTELLFAGITUAL OUTBURST this guy must be on steroids!!! I aint be knowin' dar is so much mor ta see in this here videyo!! I can believe that dat dar tren was goin' bout 35 seems ta me and ma momma more like fitty fa. Nigga.

  • If proving people were wrong gave me a boner you would give me a perpetual boner.

  • Interstate speeds? LOL.

Are you watching the same video I am?

State Controller of Crossings? LOL. Now that's a new title I'm not familiar with and I've been railroading a looonnnngggg time.

You mean the state DOT rail commissioner?

Now, the way I see this area ... it appears to be an industrial location. Train seems to be going at an acceptable rate of speed for such an area.

  • Hey BigRiggerJ, It's truck drivers like you who break the law and put others in jeopardy.Fact ...The trucker is approaching from the same direcion as the train. Unless prohibited by local law , the engineer will blow the locomotive air horns. Fact...Judging by the actions of the SUV something caused it to stop at the crossing, flashing lights of RR x-ing were active, bell ringing or sight of the train approaching then backing up to get out of the way..Trucker tried to beat the train & lost

  • lol im only 8 yrs old so theres no way possible that im a truck driver breaking laws!

  • My Windows operating system now provides me a means to enlarge to full screen and zoom in onto the area of the accident. The SUV was in the right hand lane, the circut was activated the RED warning lights were flashing. The truck driver obviously did not yeild the right of way to the train which is a Federal Law Violation as well as State Law. Sorry big Rigger Fans you loose this fight.

  • your full of more bllshit than anyone, and if anyone believes you, they can kill themselves... u cant zoom in on a bad quality video it will make the quality worse factoring U WONT BE ABLE TO SEE FUCKING BLINKING LIGHTS

  • Actually you're completely wrong.

As Steam501 wrote, most off-the-shelf software systems provide zoom enhancing software.

The lights were definitely flashing in this video. Actually you can see it without this software if you have a decent monitor.

But, on the other hand it's hard to have an intellectual argument with people who write "they can kill themselves" and "more bllshit than anyone".

You are a real intellect aren't you.

  • idk... 22'' LG HD monitor and i dont see shit except the truck ran the railroad crossing and got hit.. truck drivers fault of course but its dumb to act like you know more than you really do. So go back to your boring life please and stop starting fights and trying to make fun of me with faggot words like Intellect...

  • You don't see shit? Wow, another intellectual outburst.

For a trained professional there is so much more to see in that video.

My life is far from boring. I even find it amusingly entertaining to respond to individuals like you who haven't a clue what they're talking about but love to do so with profanity laced evidence of their ignorance.

  • Maybe it's not your monitor. Maybe it's just your eyes.

    "Faggot words like intellect"

So, your definition of proper grammar is 'faggot'?

What cave did you crawl out of neanderthal man?

  • lol well honestly, i am doing all this for amusement, its fun to argue over nothing or somethign as small as a dumb video like this one. I just like to see how people respond.

  • and not to be rude... but normally the ones who respond are the stuck up ones who want to be right at everything.

  • For an eight year old, you're a pretty giant douchebag.

  • oh ud be surprised i eat pussy as good as a douchebag to

  • Not rude at all. You're just once again professing your ignorance.

You generalize people who point out you are wrong into the category of 'stuck up' and 'want to be right at everything'.

You should instead possibly understand there are those, such as myself as rail transportation is concerned, who know more than you.

That doesn't make them stuck up. Just knowledgeable.

BTW...one thing in common. I do it for amusement as well.

  • Can you stop sayign you know more than people than if your not so stuck up.

  • I'm not 'stuck up'. However, I'm also a realist. I know a lot about railroading. I've been in this business for 30 years and I fly all over the country consulting with railroads. That's not stuck up. That's confidence.

However, there are many things I know little about. Opera. Space Shuttle design. How a woman thinks.

So if you know more about those things and can enlighten me, I won't result to the childish 'stuck up' comment.

  • how many times do i have to tell you!!! I DONT FUCKING CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE OR WHAT YOU KNOW.

  • You are one mature dude. OK. You have to tell me about 10000 more times...or more. Of course since I really could care less what you think, that may not do it.

  • lol you are funny as shit dude, keep peace man, todays my bday i just fuck with some ppl sometimes :) have a nice day and thanks for a conversation when i was bored.

  • You too. Happy Birthday to ya.

Same here. Sometimes when I'm sitting around and TV sucks I come on and see what the general BS comments are.

    Enjoyed it as well.

  • lol thanks :P

  • I am the driver of the 2000 escalade in the video. I would like to know who you did your "research" with because I was most certainly on the right side of the road, the truck driver never checked up even though it was obvious a collision was imminent. You see me begin to back up when I realized what was about to happen. Funny when people think they know things they have no idea about, I was almost killed that day.

  • FYI- If you do some research you learn that the driver of the dark SUV pulled up to the WRONG side of the road. The trucker realized that she was in his way and had to slam on his brakes so he wouldn't ram her. He didn't anticipate someone in his way. She backed up to move out of his lane and by then, the trucker knew he was doomed. Lucky the idiot SUV driver's stupidity didn't result in an accidental death. Lesson: don't drive like an idiot- you may kill someone.

  • Did this happen in Central Nebr. (Cozad r Gothenburg)? What a stupid trucker!!!

  • that trucker should get ass raped for his sheer unadulterated ignorance.

  • LMFAO !

  • holy shit i know thats real but it kinda looks fake but good vid i liked it

  • lol i bet the truck driver was pissed off when he saw that his whole load flew all over the place.

  • asssssssssrailed off the thingy texes track up my ass

  • and the truck still rolls!!!

  • did you see the car he was backing up he new what was going to happen he was like I'm getting the hell out of here lol

  • why the hell would you slow down?

  • i pity the poor guys who spent their time filling the trailer only to see it thrown all over..i imagine that would piss a guy off...

  • if you stop on the tracks and the gates are down, you will be thinking, what are those big metal things for a second, the next you will be thinking, what the hell just happened

  • I have seen this happen too many times.

Cars and trucks seem to think they have the right-of-way at crossings.

If only they realized the trauma this causes to the train crews.

  • LMFAO @ him driving out of view dragging half a trailer after hes hit. Hes like " Fuck this ,Im outta here!No one will notice!" HAHAAAAAAA

  • yeah seriously, that would be funny if neither he nor the train stops

  • lucky mother fucker lol

  • I watched for what you said. After the truck is hit, it still goes forward past the car. The car must have been a tad bit smarted than the truck and saw the train comming and and that the truck was in it's path and said, "Ah! Shit! Reverse Reverse!".

  • even if it was because of the car.. which i dont think it was.. why the hell would you try to outrun a train

  • Have to say these american train drivers are so inexperienced. Over here in Australia, they know how to hit the cab - not the trailer. Stupid truck drivers.

  • dosent matter if the engines were damaged cuz they were rent-a-wrecks:P

  • as far as the truck trying to get away your wrong. you can see 16 seconds into the video that the trucker realizes the train and tries to speed up. then when the train hits him all the grain goes flying, lost 3/4 of the trailer. last time i had common sence thet ment alot lest wait which means the faster the truck will go. btw you try driving a rig for a few months. visiblity is horrible and they dont stop very quick exspecialy with a load of grain

  • Talk about breadcrumb ownage

  • the dumbass kept driving. he didnt notice his trailer gone? or felt it? come on. i worked both jobs.

  • he was probably thinking, holy fuck lets get as far away from the train of death as possible

  • yea well if he woulda payed attention he wouldnt have to

  • ok u guys there is lights pause the vid when the white grain trailer and white cars are on the crossing

  • *pauses* nnnnnnoo. No theres defianatly no flashing signals. there probably SHOULD be, but theres not. Try watching it by what you SEE not what you -know-

*checks again*.. nnno..nope. there are no signals. Nice epic fail Tarabrush.

  • Crossing was definitely protected by flashers that are visible in the video.

I don't believe Tarabrush had an 'epic fail' here. Believe it's you Dangerhat.

  • Actually Danger...Tarabrush is right. The crossing has flashing signals. Hard to see in the video, but they are there.

  • It doesn't matter if there are signals or not. You STOP for crossings, period. Trains are not on tracks by accident, everything else is. Its a goddamn shame it hit the trailer instead of the tractor, would have taken one less stupid, impatient, self important trucker off the roads.

  • Check one more time DangerHat.

Watch it intently as you suggest TaraBush does. Keep looking. See. Right by the tracks.

Got it? Good. I knew eventually you would get off your high horse and instead of recommending that others watch the video intently that you would do so yourself.

  • I didnt notice any flashing lights.. lol.. dont comment unless you have watched the video intently at LEAST once.

  • Exactly, that was clearly that driver's fault. I did notice the mini van backing up, I don't blame them, I've seen the aftermath of a grade crossing accident where the vehicle hit was tossed into another vehicle

  • He probly didnt notice the lights.

  • I see what happened now. The intersection was VERY offset. It was no a true 90 degree's. The way the road crosses it, it makes for the slowest longest way to get out of the direct crossing of the trains path. For a vehicle crossing its way too angled.

Look at it again, simple mistake and probably why it happened. They should change the angle.

That truck is what 45-55 feet? Not an easy judgment at that angle.

  • So you are suggesting the city change pay a ton of money so that the next time the truck driver decides to pull through flashing lights and ignore the horn that he's struck at a 90 degree angle instead of a 75 degree angle? (Angle estimated).

And also, if you are a professional truck driver then the judgment is absolutely easy.

If you are unable to drive a truck safely across an angled crossing, you shouldn't drive.

  • 0wned x[]

  • lol semi truck split in half

  • Dayum he was lucky

  • That truck driver was a lucky guy.

  • Good thing that SUV backed up a little bit

  • Dang semi driver didn't even stop to check. I had a loser do that in my town!

  • the truck driver did not know he was hit

  • LOL. Of course he did. LOL.

  • lol

  • "hey.....where'd my damn trailer go??"

  • What an idiot, nobody else in the U.S would try to outrun a train with an 18 wheeler.

Wonder how far the trailer went?

  • I disagree. It happens frequently. Truck drivers in the US (and throughout the world) are humans and a percentage of them do stupid things at times. As this one did.

  • actually it happens all the time. My guess is he was 'zoned out' or something and just ignored the lights and blowing horn till it was too late and he was committed. You can see the diesel smoke kick in when he was 1/2 way across and realized he was about to become a statistic

  • The train probaley didn't even have any damage on it.

  • I was on a train that got hit by a dump truck at a crossing with working lights and bells. He nailed the side of our lead unit.

Truck was a write off, but all we felt in the unit was a small "thunk".

Reason for the crash? He was on his cell phone.

  • BWOOOOOOM!

  • Put that in your log book

  • what gets me laughing about this tho is the truck doesnt stop after the fact that he lost half his tralior and all his product like duhh

  • ha ha see that truck in half ha ha ja

  • this wouldn't happen if they put arms that come down, and flashing lights when there is a train coming!

  • No?

Happens all the time with gates and flashing lights.

But bloogo1. Who is they? Why should the railroad, who was undoubtedly there first, pay because the truck driver drove past flashing lights. (This crossing is equipped with those lights). And if not the railroad, why should I as a tax payer pay for gates because he was too patient or non-observent to stop at a crossing he problem drove over mutliple times a day deliverying grain.

  • if this happens alot, then it's a dangerous crossing, so, if not the railroad, then unfortunately, the taxpayer will ultimately pay at least for arms. and the truckers who aren't paying attention (and, yes i have seen cars drive around the lowered arms, it's stupid!) should be the ones who pay for the clean up! just my opinion.

  • well, sometimes governments find out about an unsafe problem somewhere, and make a decision to fix the problem. and guess who pays for it? the taxpayer! fair or not!

  • Yep. In this little town if they upgrade the taxpayer will pay because the
