  • AND THEY CANCELLED THIS FOR UNIVERSE?!?!?!

  • First thay would never have given the aourora class ship to the fucking travlers!

Second thay must have find blueprints and skimatiks for bilding a aourora ship.

And i never understod why thay dident beam some ZPM from the replicator to the ship thay could just beam the whole ZMP console.

All just so we earthlings cant get some cool anciant tec...

  • I recongised this tune the instant it started.... I played Halo too much lol

  • How hard is it to find just the original clip... jesus christ...

  • why didn't we make more ships....?

Or 1 big ship. a super ship or something...

  • 7 Hives, 5 Travellers junk-ships and 2 304's VS 30 Ancient War Ships + drone platform on the surface....

Does anyone else feels that this battle should have ended completly different way ?

  • yeah, it was pretty canonically inconsistent. the brand new replicator ships erupt upon contact with a few rail bullets while ancient lantean ships can survive several wraith blaster barrages even without shields.

  • Halo 3 Music

  • yes!!

  • is the music from the halo 3 soundtrack?? lol

  • good video bad music

  • why use the sound trak of halo for this its gota be one of the breaking penjamin songs would suit it alot better

    sounds more war sci-fi

  • Nice Video, but I miss the sounds of the battle...

  • which episode and season no. is this episode

  • halo music with SGA...awesome lol

  • all those replicator ships and we didnt steal a single one of them! C,mon!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol i was thinking the same thing

  • this was a perfect opportunity to beef up their forces

  • i doubt it

the aurora ships can be tracked by the asurans

and attempting to take over a ship that can destroy you with 1 volley is extremely difficult

  • yea but the arora class ships were empty

  • and they had a limited amount of time to destroy the planet before a super blob attacked them

and after dealing with super blob they had a very limited amount of time before the planet blew up

there wouldnt have been enough time to get aboard their ships let alone take control of one

  • It was safer not to, just in case some were still aboard

  • Comment removed

  • i dont think they can steal a replicator ship, its made from replicators.

  • it can be made from replicators cuz then it would be pull down towards the planet

  • i think the same thing pal

  • @SupremeCommanderO1 thats because everything they build is made out of them selves.... they are like lego. sepperated they are lose blocks but together they become objects like ships. stealing a replicator ship is abducting replicators to your own base, that would be stupid. infection risk.

  • replicator ships aren't composed of replicators, they're built conventionally. it's stated by ellis in first strike, "their ships aren’t built from nano-cells."

  • well its not that the asurans auroras sheilds were flawed its that inorder to power those kinds of sheilds you would need a zpm to power the auroras but the asurans were not all that good at going out side the blue prints as the lantians were (blue prints call for a alternate powersoruce rather than a zpm while the lantians modded there auroras to be powered by a zpm)

  • the auroras shields were not flawed. only atlantis needed a zpm, but that makes sense from its massive size and its ability to resist virtually any attack. the fact is, whether the asurans had a zpm or not only the 304's and the other aurora should have survived for more than five mins. but sense they did their ships would have had to be seriously dumbed down version, possibly because they didn't feel the need to invest those resources to bet the wraith

  • plus as far as i know most goauld technolagy is either based on or stolen directly from the ancients . so it would make sense there shields are the same . the weapons work the same way the tollan and asgard (old ones mind) worked . by passing through this gap they could hit the ship directly . the new design in the sheilds made by anubis must have defeated this problem .which leaves me wondering why replicators built so many flawed ships lol

  • the goauld tech is the equavalent of an ancient 6th grader's science project. the suspected flaws in the goauld tech was not in ancient tech. if anything Anubis's upgrades were a lot closer to ancient tech than before. but lets not we dont even know if those flaws existed as the missiles on the x301 was never tested until after those upgrades

  • ok this will take a bit of explainin....but i think i get the jist of it . goauld sheilds all work on a corrilating frequency or something which cant be seen by the neked eye .but if something is moving fast enough it can see the difference between the frequency and pass through it lyk they did in the stargate episode where they have them cool bracelets . and the elso mention it when the retro fit the death glider . they talk about arming there missles in the same way

  • Somehow, I expected so much more from Stargate Atlantis. Of course, this battle was very good, but still something was missing. Perhaps, they needed to show more close range footages of the ships.

  • Kinda like some of Battle of Endor?

Seeing the battle right from off the top of one of the ships

  • looks better with multiple windows ... scifi is alotta eye candy

  • also (sorry character limit) i had previously figured that the ships could only enter the same hyperspace window if they had similar engines, from when the daedalus and the orion jumped at different times during a previous episode, i forgot the name, yet almost every fleet i have ever seen in either series shows the ships in the same window. although it doesnt explain when thor entered the same hyperspace route as the replicator ship in sg1 when though both ships jumped at different times, idk

  • does this episode discredit what was seen in multiple other episodes of both series that multiple ships can enter the same hyperspace window? because i found it weird that both 304's traveled at the same time from earth yet exited hyperspace in different windows and of course later in the battle when fleet all jumped into their own windows. so is it no longer true or was this for some sort of tactical advantage, but this till doesnt explained when the 304 exited hyperspace at the beginning

  • the planet was blowing up and about to destroy the solar system ,its every man for him self

  • yet some how they still had enough power to launch drones at atlantis and kill almost ever replactor copy of the atlantis team hmmmm... lol but its possible that that aurora had a zpm then again every one should have if they are turly as powerful as the Lantians after all the Lantians built auroras just a fast as the replactors if not faster and they all had zpm and if am not mistaken isnt it easy for the Lantians / Replactors to make zpms? atlantis had to be self sufecent so its possible

  • NO MORE MUSIC WERE IS STARGATE NOT THIS

  • i have to agree with LinnandLina because even one on one with a Asuran aruora and a hive its still possible for the Asuran Aurora to lose while if it were a Lantian Aurora acording to Todd the wraith it would have taken many hives and many months to down a Lantian Aurora

  • which episode did Todd say the Lantian Aurora's were more powerful than the replicators Auroras?

  • nice =] i love the song haha halo 3 right?

  • yeah, it's from when the humans and eleites go through the portal to the ark

  • thanks =]

  • This was a good episode but wern't the aurora class ships beaten far too easly, these ships are supposed to be created by the most advaced race in the knows universe who where millions of years ahead of most in technology!!

  • i think because they were taken by surprise or something so they did not have chance 2 raise their sheilds maybe

  • and the replicator auroras are much weaker then the real ones. btw i love auroras watch my vids!

  • where did you get that from? they're build much more faster than the acients could've ever done it, but that doesn't mean that they are weaker. plus they have ZPMs powering their shields. i think the allied forces should have encountered far greater losses... great episode none the less.

  • yes but the replicators copied the ancient technology but they will never be able to make such great ships like an ancient aurora

  • Not all of the Replicator Auroras had ZPMs. Although the replicators were able to rapidly buil Aurora class battleships they were unable to produce enough ZPMs to power all of their ships, and therefore the allies were able to destroy them more easily. That and the Replicators use energy weapons and not drones for the most part.(probable due to inadequite power to lauch drones)

  • I agree with you. However, one could make the case that the Replicators have weakened the Aurora class, arming it with some kind of energy weapon and weaker shields(a missle from a -302 would never have penetrated an ancient warship's shields).

They may have done this because they realized even a ship so weakened would still be a match for the shield-less Hiveships.

Otherwise, the allied fleet would have been easily crushed, and our main character's lives would've ended over Asuras.

  • i know how the first 1 was beat so easy because when ships cum out of hyperspace there sheilds r off line

  • thats not exactly true in all cases, i seem to recall the odessey or promethius (sorry for spelling) in sg1 raising its shields before it exited, the same goes with one of the hatak's. (i think) but even then if i am wrong, atlantis and alteran constructed city ships (including the replicators) have to have there shields up in space when they enter, while there in, and when they exit hyperspace.

  • you are correct in stating that city ships can raise shields while in hyperspace, however most ships cant use shield when in hyperspace or just exiting hyperspace. Thor explaned in Small Victories (Season4 Episode1) that because of the vast amount of power required to travel in hyperspace it is immpossible to have shields. He also states that it takes a ship a moments to switch power from engines to shields when exiting hyperspace. However, this problem can be overcome with the aid of a ZPM.

  • ah well pointed out. But then im sure one of the earth ships was given an order to raise shields before they dropped out of hyperspace, which may show a flaw in the advanced asgard technology. cause like you said the ancients over came the problem with the ZPM. and the Ori 'appear' to never have their shields down unless they have landed. So it might only be a problem with certain types of technology. sorry i cant remember the name of the ship, possibly most likely then Daedalus.

  • which season was this? If it was a later season it may have been that the ship was equiped with a ZPM found by the atlantis expedition. However, I would need to know the episode to know.

  • i believe it was in the later episodes of season 3 of atlantis. but im starting to wonder whether it was a dream or not ^^

  • yeah but the city ship does not have 2 move around alot realy its just the home of the ancients they dont send them ships into battle or anything

  • Then why did u watch it?

  • @usmanbr You dont realise that the US goverment might actually be able to conceal something like this... theres 'Classified' files for a reason

  • what is the name of this episode???? which episode is it????

  • Gee, it only says "From the episode Be All My Sins Remember'd" in the discription; might be some sort of suggestion that it's from that episode, maybe, perhaps, possibly?

  • It's from the Season 4 episode Be All My Sins Remember'd.

  • im watching it right now, i just saw the part when they destroyed the first ship

  • im watching it right now, i just saw the part when they destroyed the first ship

  • 1.06, what ship class is that. Its heavily contrasted to other designs

  • There are two ships in the foreground, which one are you referring to? One is a wraith hive ship, which is getting fired upon by an upclose Aurora class Lantian designed warship.

  • I meant the organic looking ship. I guess that's the hive ship?

  • The hive ship is indeed organic, a high city-sized bioengineered construct, working mainly through a mental connection with the wraith crewing it. Not very high tech though, no shields, just a very regenerative hull; and the hyperspace ability is rudamentry at best. Designed to last thousands of years, with several thousand crew members usually led by a queen or commander.

  • ok, thanks for the information.

  • Nice video! Loved that episode and great use of Halo 3 music.

  • I do bolieve he was trying to identify the allied Aurora class battleship, not the first one or the Replicator ones.. Hint Hint guy's..

  • Yeah that was a replicator ship, why would anyone think that the Atlantis Expedition would order the destruction of a ship that is allied with them? Plus, you see the hot/badass commander lady after the skirmish, which was on the Traveler shit the entire time.

  • 7 hives not 6 and there are multiple traveler ships along with the ancient ship.

  • That is a Replicator ship. Not a traveler ship, or the orion. The 2 ships that are attacking it are out battle cruisers. Latter in the video it is a Traveler ship. The allied fleat of 6 hives, 2 battle cruisers, and aurora class ancient ship, and the travelers are fighing the replicators.

  • which season is this???

  • Season 4

  • It's the Traveller's Aurora Class warship, not the Orion.. Orion was destroyed in Season 3

  • the aurora was destroyed that ship is the Oryan
