I have in fact NEVER heard anyone ever say that Dylan has a nice character or is a decent guy. Nay. They do not because they cannot. In 1987 I met Joan in Houston--at Joan's Hall. She spent about 5 minutes with me signing pictures and answering my questions about Bob. I disagree with her politics, but she seems sincere in her vision to help the world.

I'm not very religeous, but I see something here. Joan actually seems to be in touch with something unseen. Kind of strange and beautiful. Before she was famous Joan once worked for the Perkins Institute for the Blind in Watertown MA. She would sing the blind and deaf kids to sleep at night. The deaf kids could feel the vibrations of her voice.

There's a lot of questions on where to get this song. Let me remind You of the fact that Joan has recorded this song several times and there is quite big differences between the versions. This version is probably the best version but have good competition with the version on the early LP Folksingers 'Round Harvard Square,1959. These two versions are by far better then the others I've heard. I really wish I'll could get this whole version from the Dylan movie.

@555Fiver555 this is a segment from No Direction Home, documentary by M Scorsese, on Bob Dylan's uprise and touring during 1961-1966. J Baez was actually very important part of those times of protest and as a representative of folk music, quite an influence on BD, so yeah he has the right to talk about her, on a film that is about his great impact on music, as well as one of the greatest moments in rock history (booing him and the pick up band,newport festival)

But he had no part in the editing of it, it was made by award-winning filmmaker Martin Scorcese, the director of Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, etc....
