ok i beat this game when i was a kid. back in 2000 i seriously wish i didnt get a chance to play it until now so i can experience it first hand. it will always stay a memory as thee greatest piece of software ever invented. i wanna play it right now. it has such a dark story that make you want to see whats next. its a masterpiece!!!!!

Love this theme!! I'm going to start this again just as soon as i can find my PS1 Memory Card lol. Weren't there like 3 or 4 different game covers? I have the platinum edition cover but i've seen this cover along with two other covers as well. Can some one tell me which is the legitimate cover (Not saying that they're all not legit).

@wwefanme I thought there was only one cover (the one in this video). There was a greatest hits release, but the cover stayed the same, the only difference was that the black playstation label on the left was green. (The black label games are worth more $).

I think it was 2 weeks. It was my third time through so I knew where everything was. I spent about 3-4 hours a day playing with 5-6 on weekends.

all up to 10 was good but after that it totally got away from what made final fantasy a great game. now its gone, but in square enix screwing it up has made us all value the old ones even more, as they were hard to continue from after being so shit hot

i love how people who never played 11 seriously down play it. esp scince its 9 years old, and i myself have played for 6 years along w/ many others, and it still bring in people. its not wow, but its almost what people want, and im hoping 14 will do what 11 couldnt

11 is 9 years old? ive played sense the beginning i have pretty much the best gear for my jobs barring a relic and i have to say, now that 14 was announced there is like no fucking reason to play 11 at all. it was awesome because it was actually hard compared to other MMOs like WoW that you get max level in a week. it was amazing and ground breaking no doubt! 1st multiplatform MMO and it was amazing

everyone who downplays it are the people who were too ADD to get a party because they sucked

I still believe that Mario RPG is arguably the best RPG that "Square" has ever made. FFVII was not made during the Square-Enix conjunction.

For what it is, Mario RPG is probably the most unique game to ever grace the States. Taking an extremely popular Platform title and turning it into something rivaling Chrono Trigger and FFIV on SNES at the time is REMARKABLE.
