i got my magnum x5 for about 320 with tax home depot.. .. I love it so far,. the reversible tip loosened a clog right up and the machine ran great...my first job with it i left some tails..in the finish. It was only on the ceiling though.. i think it was from holding the gun upward getting really uneven spraying patterns.. and maybe to low of pressure.. But i know once the paint is layered over enough the tails will theoretically have to blend in when its covered with enough strokes right?

You guys should warn people, of how to clean the sprayer. I got a pretty bad finger injury when i was cleaning my graco gun almost lost my finger and i had to be in the hospital for 3 days. So everybody that will be buying or has a paint sprayer be really carefull when cleaning it or when it troubleshooting. I didnt know how common this injury is until it happend to me, BE CAREFULL i dont wish this to anybody.

@stripz831 Thanks for reminding everyone to ALWAYS read the instruction manuals and pay attention to the warnings. Airless paint sprayers operate under pressure and can be dangerous if proper procedures are not followed. The operational videos included with Magnum sprayers also describe warnings to help prevent injury.

its a nice video and shows what u need to do, but i would recommend that u dont stop like they show u, where u start u can get more paint and then u get drops going down.

the best thing is to start spraying and keep spaying down with out letting go

The way he is spraying this he will have missed the bottom of the siding better a side to side spray pattern(veriticle spray) alterating angling the gun slightly to the left then slightly to the right(to completely get the verticle gaps)
