with all respect, if this is a 10dan kata, demo, something is very wrong... his position is ridiculously poor, his speed is none, and his zan-shin is atrocious. (this seems to be, but it is not a free hate post, it's an honest point of view). nice vid anyways.
In a real fight to defending his life, who has the winner's advantage: A master of karate with full knowledge of kata's bunkai and makiwara experienced or a Wing Chun master trained in wooden dummy (mudjong). In your opinion who's the one that would survive?
@maragg12 BEST ANSWER on this subject: I do not like to get in the habit of saying one style is better than others. In regards to karate as a sport-I believe tournament compeition, that while it has some benefits, it does create a mindset and habits that will not work for actual combat. I also agree that when you can not attck the joints, eyes, throat, fingers, groin, etc that a true martial artist would not be able to effectively use their style.
SINCERELY. I THINK HE HAS DEMONSTRATED IN A LOWER SPEED TO DEMONSTRATE IN KATA Si. SINCE THIS SKILL IS SENSEI. MY POINT OF VIEW ...
