If animals like sheep were left to their own devises they would not need to be sheared would they. Look at any true animal in the wild, be it a musk Oxen, a arctic fox or a even a bird called a ptarmigan. They all do it naturally, so why does'nt man leave these animals alone ? I dont care if it's been going on for a k years, it does'nt make it right

what do the sheep do about july when its 110 and the flys have laid eggs in the wool, filling the wool around the rear end with maggots? These then eat into the living sheep. Look up flystrike, or flyblow in sheep, then decide what cruelty is when you know whats going on. Sheep were bred for a thousand years to be sheared, it is needed for the sheep to be healthy. Get some sheep, raise them for a couple years and find out what things are like in the real world.
