nope. Bugatti Veyron GT just did 264mph, so the SSC is not faster. PLus the Veyron 16.4 has a REV limiter on it when it set the 253mph record, if you took itoff it does 259mph. I thought the guy was a moron for tampering w/the Veyron like that but it did 259mph so the SSC never really was the fastest
