cool, thanks. one of the better tom waits covers i've heard and far above average video. but hey, i know it's only a second or two, but is it too late to edit tom cruise out?
Forget it, Coté sings like a nunn, sxxual unexpirienced.
Look for this:
"Me singing Tom Waits/Diana Krall- Temptation"
by mydogsingstoo. Nice voice, much appeal!
This one I find much more sexy, than Cotè maybe. Maybe that's a "Pavlow-reflex". Because looking at women in such shirts much more often ends up in sxx 4 me.
personally i get this video, all the different pictures are not unnecessary because this person is actually showing us what is could be tempting in life. The nice car, chocolate ice cream, a bottle of a cold white wine zinfandel, and of course money! makes perfect sense to me! but of course everyone has their type of temtations.
Sultry, personal, vivid, smoky and soft all at once. I remember temptation and giving in and at another time running away. I enjoyed both experiences and Diana Krall helps me to remember them ever so deliciously....aaaaahhhhh
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I don't know who the guy is at the very beginning and very end of the video; but we sure could do without that mess. It is distracting and take a few seconds to get into the video. At the end, it abruptly breaks the mood of the video. I want to go away with the video sliding about in my mind and in my heart
Regarding your complaints: The guy at the beginning, middle and end of this video is the infamous and legendary "Tom Waits", the author of the song. Do some research and then check out this video again.
@CGimaging LMFAO! I'm glad you responded because I was about to go off on that person ha ha ha. But I think this woman needs to lay off the song because it is supposed to be demented not "smooth" sounding like this. He was going for morbid, not processed cheese.
Well, without that "noisy piece of shit", you wouldn't get to hear her sing shit she couldn't write herself.
Some fucking logic on this chode. Next time this comes on in the elevator at your little corporate button-down desk job... hang yourself with your necktie, you testosterone-lacking, comb-overing, shoe-lift wearing turd.
And damn the bastard who put this song on the Tom Waits playlist I was (up until this point) enjoying.
Dude...that is Tom Waits, the person who wrote the song! He's a very strange guy but an awesome songwriter. Many people have covered his songs and had huge hits with them. Check him out.
And she...she...she MARRIED Elvis Costello ?!?!?!?!?!:P:P:P When she could have had ME ?!:P Oh,Jeez, to hear her voice purring in your ear.......waaaaaay over the top :D And a really pianist as well.......Oh, Diana sing me a torch song, willya...........Awesome bass, BTW Peace:-)
i think this version is ok,..... but cote de palbo/ziva's is soo much better i think its because she changes language and she sounds better and she looks better tooo lol :D
i hate tom waits version it is awful ... but thats just me lol
I think that's what it is. I don't like Diana Krall precisely because of this 'forced' femininity. Ziva has it naturally :) BTW -- I don't watch that show at all.
Both versions (Cote de Pablo and Diana Krall) are good, but I think I prefer Cote's... plain old prefer it, heard it first (I tend to like the first ones I hear better), and there's an explosion at the end.
the "Ziva" version I think is cooler cuz it contains the french part, which makes the song THAT much sexier. but the "my will has disappeared" part of the original song is somethin else...
No I think she doesn't. Although I'm a big NCIS fan (Cote is my third favo), I guess Diana is better. :) But Cote looks much better than Diana anyway. :) I loved her dress. :)
Nice work - an interesting balance with your SG art...speaking of Tom Waits, I have heard that the dimensions of box of Marlboro reds contains the golden mean...
Because of your fascinating comments, I actually left my hermetic cave to purchased a box of Marlboro Reds (a very expensive TEMPTATION) and measured it. And NO, I can not find any Golden Mean relationship in the box.
Phi Ratio (Golden Mean) = 1.6180339....
Width of Box = 55 m.m.
Hight of Box = 83 M.M.
That makes Marlboro Red box about 6 M.M. short
My larger question is: who starts these goofy rumors?
And now I have to smoke these things! Really GOOFY!
Very seductive- and so in spirit of the theme- TEMPTATION. It makes me think of the Hero & Heroine's journey. Every hero's story relates their experience with temptation. Our temptations are the insights to our shadows. And only by dancing with with our shadow are we able to deepen our relationship with the divine- the wholeness of who we are!
Great vid! The falling apple suggests to me 'the fall', and is linked to sacred geometry because the apple contains the pentagram or five pointed star, which is used to symbolise the elements in harmony with spirit at the top, unless it is reversed (fallen?)with spirit at the bottom and materiality placed over it (given precedence). Upright looks like a person standing and reversed we stand on our head,. I don't think we can do that for long without getting dizzy lol, as with temptation.
This visual music interpretation is creative & alluring. I like it. This IS different coming from you though. How does Sacred Geometry relate to temptation or where you just having fun with the music? I believe to understand the ONENESS of the Universe includes our need to deal w/the humaness of our lives. I see this video as an extension/expansion to your other SC videos. Perhaps it is not as "educational", but still very inspirational, thought provoking, & entertaining. More?
Thanks for your thoughtful comments. You pretty much got the idea behind this music video. And yes, I was having fun and plan to create more music videos.
Well for once I'm SPEECHLESS! first..... the video and then all the strange comments! Not a good one to watch if your a Diana Krall fan!

Video: I don't mind seeing shots of the composer Tom Waits, but all the other shots are BS and are unneccessary.
Audio: VB & WW do a better version than this. They are very underrated. And this one here gets all the attention. Unfortunate.

@CGimaging I dont't give a fuck who the guy is. I came here to listen Diana Krall, not that noisy piece of shit.
P.S. I know he's the author, but the title says Diana Krall, not Tom Waits.
